The infamous first love, Wang Min Jun, was amused at his situation where he had to deal with the two batting eyes at him with a pout. "Why did I become the babysitter to two people who are older than me!"
Choi Haneul whined because he was called old. "Only by a month!"
"Still, I am younger than you…" Min Jun stated as a matter of fact.
Haneul's first love started to remove the large cloth covering the furniture. Soon everyone started to arrive as if it was their only chance to meet.
Most of Choi Haneul and Lee Whan's friends did not go to work for the next four days. They all stayed back as they tried to organise the house but argued over every tiny detail. The best thing was most of them were not sober for the next four days.
The free flow of alcohol was available to them - from expensive scotch to old whiskey; plain old school beer to soju; imported wine to domestic brewed Makgeolli. Whenever they had a shortage of alcohol, Min Jun called in his people to deliver it for them.
Most of them drank like it was the last few days of their life, while someone chose to stay sober to ensure their drunk friends won't do anything stupid.
Without question, it was Min Jun who stayed sober. To give him company, his boyfriend also did not touch alcohol. Ahn Chija chose not to drink as she might have to leave abruptly for work in case of danger. Few others also did not drink.
Drunk fools trying to unbox the luggage and decorate the house was hilarious. Choi Haneul was laughing as he saw the people he grew up with arguing about the rug they should place in the hall. They were arguing over the red rug and black rug.
Haneul was laughing as it was rosewood and a dark blue rug. But he chose to drown himself in Makgeolli, which he missed while abroad.
The sober ones shook their head at their drunk friends holding the bedspread and window curtain as a rug and arguing righteously.
The poor sober people in the house tried not to commit murder. It was challenging, and they somehow managed not to commit a homicide. There were many arguments and a few fist fights that led to bruises and broken vases, but at the end of the day, they would eat together and sleep together.
Waking up the following day with a killer hangover but still drinking alcohol like that was the only thing that kept them alive. Most behaved crazily. Still, they listened to their friends who were sober to an extent.
But few things were inevitable, like sneaky brats sending a drunk text to their ex and begging them to get back together, forgetting their ex got married or blocked them or moved on.
The police officer in their gang, Kim Seo Guk, almost tried to strip himself naked with Kang Eun - the idol of SMJ, for a bet on the balcony for the world to see. Thankfully that disaster was stopped by SMJ's CEO, who briefly dropped by with food and hangover soup for them.
On the second day of the madness, drunk Lee Whan attempted to place a bounty on his brother's head sneakily. But he looked at the wrong site. Unfortunately, online shopping sites do not provide such a service.
Lee Whan whined about it for a long time and cried on Ahn Chija's lap. Irrespective of being a mafia boss and knowing how to place a bounty, Ahn Chija did not help Lee Whan. She knew her best friend would regret it when he became sober.
She just cursed out the poor online shopping company to comfort her drunk friend. But she was busy sipping an avocado milkshake with lots of whip cream.
As much as everyone wanted to get back at Lee Whan's brother, they felt he was not worth their time, and they believed Lee Whan should walk away from the stupid family for good and never return.
The worst drunk incident happened on the third day. Choi Haneul was trying to make ramen in the laundry room wearing nothing but a boxer. Haneul believed that thinking the washing machine was the newly bought stove and the boxer he was wearing was the new apron.
Haneul even tried convincing his first love's boyfriend that the washing machine was the new smart stove he ordered was much safer, and the apron he was wearing was a fireproof one.
The poor man patiently listened to Choi Haneul's rant while his boyfriend, Min Jun, made ramen in the kitchen and sneakily swapped it over the raw pot on the washing machine.
True to the group name, all of them were literally brats from hell. Only their friend could handle their drunk madness. Thankfully not everyone got drunk.
