The Alpha King was known as the greatest person to live in the world. In a place called Moon Valley, the Alpha King, together with his Luna, the Queen, ruled the world. All people bowed down to the king, regardless of status, identity, or race.
"Alpha King, the messenger from the South has arrived," the Head Guard announced before the king.
The called person slowly emerged from the tall books before him, head high and tall, evoking the strongest pheromones as he stood up.
A man with a red hat entered the king's court, bowing as he greeted. "Your Majesty, I'm Famis from the South. The old messenger Damis is my father. Unfortunately, he was killed while traveling here to the Capital. I'm here to replace him and report accordingly to His Majesty."
With a glance to the head guard, the Alpha King made a hand gesture, signaling the man to stand up from his kneeling position. The man began to report the usual things about the happenings of the South to the Alpha King, including of course, the recent findings of the new group traveling to the place.
"You must have heard about my son heading to the Southern borders," the Alpha King said. "That child doesn't know anything about the world but firmly requested to find the antidote for his brother. He didn't even ask for his mother's permission."
"This servant knows his status but I think His Majesty must know something. It is about the Second Prince who is currently in the South," the messenger informed.
The Alpha King's eyes glowed, mighty power reflecting through his vision as he ordered in a low, authoritative voice. "Speak."
Famis the messenger kept his head low. "According to the people who have seen the Second Prince, he is with three other men who looked to be hunters, and three more people who looked to be around his age, two of which are women."
"Women?" A dangerous tone emitted from the king's voice. He stared at the messenger and asked, "Who are these women?"
"My other companions said they looked to be Luna Veron's adoptive daughter Princess Carrie and the Northeast General Byron's daughter, Tamara."
The Alpha King's eyes trembled, as if full in shock as he asked, "The Princess has reached the Southern borders?"
"Y-Yes, Your Majesty..." the messenger answered in fear. The voice and look of the mighty king had changed. His eyes were slowly changing colors, from raven black to red like burning fires. For someone who rarely went to the Capital to see this person, Famis felt he was being eaten up just by looking at this figure. He wondered if his father's death was a blessing or a curse for him.
Then to his surprise, the Alpha King's tone became lower but much more collected as if the previous disposition didn't happen at all.
"Leon," the Alpha King called.
The Head Guard, Leon, entered and bowed. "Your Majesty, you called."
"Inform General Lector and the Black Knights to prepare for a quest," the Alpha King announced, eyes back to being black and dark. There was a strange, unreadable glint however that remained in them as he uttered his last words.
"They must bring Princess Carrie back to the palace."
Not even a half day later, one man leading twenty knights were set off with their horses. One of which was Xavier, a soldier who had been working for the Capital for many years. And the very soldier who had also lost his wife years ago due to an incident. An incident that cost the peace and life of a person who tried to defy what most people called fate.
The sun was high and soaring like a free bird, people could only look up from the ground and watch. For some people, the idea was only right but for some, it was a taboo. For anything the eyes could see, the hands could too. And nothing was an exception if one had the power to attain one desired goal.
"Two points for Master Sky!"
A man announced, bows and arrows hanging on his back.
A young man whose face deeply resembled the Alpha King had his eyes focused to the target about ten trees away from him. The arrow left the bow he was holding, shooting directly to the center of the object.
"Ten points for the Third Prince!"
