Ulysses last remembered the fairy's face before he fainted. Princess Dana was the first to help him. He completely lost consciousness when paramedics came to rescue him and brought him to the hospital.
"Am I in heaven?" Ulysses said depressingly to himself.
All he thought was, that he was already dead. All he could see up around his eyes are all white. He was lying dressed in a white gown. The pillow is white and the wall is white. The ceiling is white. Everything around him is white. He squeezed his arm. He remembered what had happened. The loud crash of the incoming car with the car he was driving. He already passed the ballet tree at that time.
Then there was someone knocking on the door. Ulysses could not stand yet. He can't even move his legs. Not knowing he was advised not to make any unnecessary moves.
"Come In," he said.
He talked, that's all he can do by himself alone. Her mother opened the room. And, its face looks too worried for her son.
"Son, thank you. You awake. It's good that you are safe now.
And at that moment he realized he was still alive. He was so glad and grateful enough.
"I'm so lucky to have this second life," he answered her mother.
The mother's face was happy staring at him. She was so grateful too, that her son was completely out of danger.
Ulysses was comatose. He was in an unconscious situation whenever the hospital after the accident happened.
"Son, do you remember what happened?" Aling Yolly asked.
"Mom, the last thing I remembered after the loud sound of a car crash was I was been rescued and got bored in an ambulance," he weakly replied.
Ulysses was still in doubt if he would tell or keep it a secret. It is about the fairy who helped him. He saw again the fairy. The fairy hugged him tightly at the moment he was hit. She was the fairy he had seen in the spring water one afternoon. And the fairy that took him to another world. Or he might say the world of fairies.
"No one can believe that you're still alive son, because of the excessive destruction of the front of your car. But miraculously there was no career inside and outside of your head. Your brain and skull were all intact. Even though you were still confined in the Intensive Care Unit in a comatose situation but seemed like you are just sleeping."
Ulysses was been at the Intensive Care Unit for twenty -four hours but was also released after being diagnosed he was fine. Her mother's tears flowed at the thought that she would lose her son.
"Someone helped me," Ulysses started to say something.
But he can't be sure if his mother would believe him if he will tell about Princess Dana.
"Who helped you son?" Aling Yolly asked in astonishment.
"I wasn't sure then too. Maybe it was just my imagination."
"Because those who first saw you didn't tell anything," her mother added.
"Ah! No one. Maybe I just thought there was."
His tongue twitched. He couldn't tell what he experienced. His mother might laugh at him. It became a puzzle for his mother. But he would rather keep it to himself. He will wait for some other time to prove that there was a fairy who helped him.
"There is nothing to worry about. So he can be sent home."
It was the neurosurgeon doctor's advice. Ulysses was allowed to go home. Aling Yolly was so happy.
Ulysses prepared himself early that morning. He ate breakfast.
"Son, be careful in driving. You supposed not to go to work yet," Aling Yolly told her son.
But Ulysses didn't want to stay at home as much as he wanted to go to the shop. It's been a week since he came home from the hospital. If he could only obey to stay home for another month, he would but he is worried about his shop. His mother can do nothing. Ulysses is the type of man who can also insist on wanting when it comes to working. It was good that he followed for at least a week. Ulysses only wanted two days' rest. But for her mother's excessive request and did not allow him to leave the house. Ulysses did nothing but follow through.
"I'm leaving, don't worry I will be careful as much as I could," a promise that he said to his mother.
He said goodbye and slowly drive away home. There he came under the ballet tree at the spring nearby where the accident had happened. All of a sudden he remembered the fairy. Princess Dana helped him. His face peaked at the window and his eyes were searching around. There was a cold wind passing around. His hair stood up on the end again. It was as if someone had passed by without being able to figure out what and who. No one could see, that's what he thinks.
"Who is that someone your eyes are trying to find around? Is it me? I'm glad to know that you are searching for me."
Princess Dana should up even though he didn't ask for it. Unbelievable to one like Dana, who is a princess in the kingdom of fairies.
"Thank you for letting me see you. I could have said thank you for saving me."
"Welcome, Ulysses. Is that your name, am I right."
"Yes I am Ulysses," he answered too.
"By the way you are now here in the world of fairies."
"Dear princess, your father the king has been looking for you."
Dama Ashe responded to the conversation even though she had just arrived. It is always tiring to find Princess Dana. She always use her powerful magic so that she couldn't be seen even by her maid fairy.
"I'll come next to you," Princess Dans answered.
"Be careful what you do Princess Dana. Your father the king orders you to keep an eye on yourself. It is about your frequent visit here in the spring."
Princess Dana doesn't care. She can disappear as much as she likes to do so that her father the king doesn't catch her.
She's still determined not to follow the fixed marriage that his royal father wants.
"Princess Dana, can you bring me back to earth," Ulysses begged the princess.
"In an agreement," Princess Dana speaks with a lame smile.
Ulysses doesn't seem to have another choice but to agree.
What can a man like him do against a highness of majesty?
What can a man like him do against t magic of a fairy?
"I will also be with you on earth wherever you go and whatever you do every day." Lady Ase couldn't stop herself from answering.
"But Princess Dana your royal father will get angry with what you want to happen."
"Then won't let you go," Princess Dana quickly answered.
"All right if that's your preference," Ulysses agreed.
"Can you protect me against your father in case you get caught? And will ask why you are on the land of humans," he continued
Ulysses agreed and also asked for the fairy's favor. In the blink of an eye, Ulysses was already on the ground. When he opened the door, there was Princess Dana who had been on board earlier. Ulysses nodded at the Princess's awkwardness.
"Here we are," Princess Dana happily said.
"Am I the only one who can see you," he asked the Princess.
"Yes. You're the only one I'll let see me."
"Then I can't talk to you so often.
Especially if there are a lot of people to see. I would be mistaken as crazy," Ulysses said laughing
Princess Dana nodded at what Ulysses wanted to happen. She could read to an l man's mind. She knew it already before Ulysses talked. And she had nothing to do but agree.
