Haneul cleared her throat. "Now tell me," She insisted, "Are you mad at me?"
Yeom Tae blinked.
Haneul blinked.
"No."
"Why not?"
"I can't be mad at a person I love."
Haneul was lost at words yet again. The man was too nice for her. Someone like him a criminal? She couldn't believe it. The man's tone was always sincere too. Haneul was never given a chance to second guess his feelings because of how sincere his tone was. He truly loved her, despite being friendzoned.
"You're a tomato." He smiled before grabbing their cups from the table and standing up to put them aside in the dishwasher.
Haneul quickly covered her cheeks, realizing he was talking about her face. It must be red, considering how warm it felt all of a sudden. She watched Yeom Tae bending down to put the cups into the dishwasher. It was strange how organized he was. He never left any utensils on the counter and in the sink.
