Yeom Tae was shocked at how casually Haneul spoke about them. Was it just a ruse? He wanted to believe it was a ruse. For someone who built boundaries between beds, this had to be a ruse. They were 'friends' if he wasn't mistaken. He wanted to believe they were. Because whatever she was saying was making his heart flutter.
"Oh!~" All in harmony let their voices float around the room to tease the couple.
Haneul chuckled. "That's all." She shrugged.
Yeom Tae wanted to add to this. He just wasn't sure if it was appropriate to do so. Would she get mad if he talked about something or added something? He was scared. But his heart told him to add to this.
"You love rice cakes more than anything." Yeom Tae added, hesitantly.
"Oh, I love those. But more than anything is a stretch." Haneul smiled.
