Francis dashed into Declan's cabin. "The corpses," he said, huffing.
Declan closed the laptop and focused his gaze on him. "Take a breath."
"Phew…" Francis blew air and sank into the chair, wiping the sweat from his brow.
Declan passed him a glass of water.
"Thank you." Francis drank the water all at once. He put the glass down. "The search team found the corpses." He pushed the file that he had brought with him toward Declan. "The DNA results confirmed that those were Tina and Jeremey's."
Declan's eyebrows creased as he checked the reports. The corpses were all swollen, making identification difficult. The DNA test, however, confirmed Tina's death.
Declan didn't know what he was feeling. He was relieved, but the uncertainty lingered in his mind. What if it was another ruse by Sean and Tina?
He directed his gaze at Francis. "Do you believe this report?" he asked skeptically.
