Chapter 6 - Chapter Six: Hinderer Painting

"My brother, Xin always get bullied so you should be careful to be on high alert. And also don't make any friends, my brother doesn't have any or you might be suspected to be different from the Xin they knew." Xinny said as she exited the laboratory with the all dressed up Xin. As soon as they got out, Xinny's foster parents made their way towards them with the doctor.

"Try to deny staying here." Xinny whispered to Xin as she saw them running towards them.

The trio had already got to Xin and Xinny and they were wondering why Xin looked so handsome.

"Xin, you're changed." Xinny's foster mother said before turning to look at the doctor. "Did you give him some handsome enhancer pills or what?"

The doctor raised his shoulders up and replied. "Anything for my patients."

Xinny scoffed as she heard what the doctor said. "Patient my foot."

"Hey, where are you going in your school uniform. You just woke up, you should have some rest." The doctor said, trying to change the subject.

"That won't be necessary, I have missed a lot of topics in the month I spent at home. I can't afford to skip any more classes." Xin replied and the students carried on walking.

"Am I the only one who noticed this, that Xin acts so different from before." Xinny's foster mom blurted out.

"Yeah, he seems like an entirely different person. Like he's not the Xin we knew before. He never cares about school." Xinny's foster Dad replied.

"Well, I don't see any difference in him. He looks absolutely the same. Or maybe your lightning did something to him." The doctor said and the two couples gave him a stare.

"Just kidding." The doctor chuckled as he walked into his laboratory-like-hospital.

Xin and Xinny were walking towards a car park and right in front of them, was a large bus that had no windows apart from the ones at the driver's side.

"Where are we going?" Xin asked, feeling tired from walking.

"Why, are you tired or what?" Xinny inquired.

"I don't walk as far as this. I always have my own car that would carry me."

"I forgot that you are a spoilt rich child. We have not even walked five metres that you have started complaining." Xinny scoffed.

"This is unfair. I'm a prince, I shouldn't be walking like a slave." Xin complained.

"Come on you weak rat, we're entering that bus. If I get there before you, it would leave without carrying you along." Xinny said and as Xin looked towards the bus and saw that the distance wasn't too far from where he was, his morale was boosted and he had started walking quickly. Even faster than how he had been waking since.

They got near the bus and a soldier appeared in front of them. The soldier was dressed in a blue military uniform and a black military cap. He had about ten medals on his uniform, and his name; sergeant Kim was written on his uniform.

"Xinny, you're late." The sergeant said. His voice was deep and piercing to the ears and it felt like he was angry at someone.

"I'm so sorry, we had to clear some things at home." Xinny said as she hopped into the bus and Xin had also followed after her.

The door was shut down and the bus soon started moving.

"The journey would take about three hours, so, during that time, I would quickly tell you all what you need to know about our school and how you need to act." Xinny said but instead of paying attention to her, Xin was distracted by the paintings made to the bus.

"It looks exactly like the paintings my late grandpa did to the interior of his mini van. He said he loves to paint things and since he died two years ago, my father the king had cleared out all his paintings. He said that it killed my grandpa." Xin said.

"Why would a mere paint kill a man. And besides, that thing is no ordinary. It is a paint that keeps off all evil and negates any type of ability that is being used near him. For example, I can't use my fire ability, because I'm trapped in a bus full of some mystery paintings." Xinny said.

"Oh, but it doesn't makes sense to have such a painting drawn in this bus, does it?" Xin asked.

"It makes sense. This is a school bus that carries different types of students with abilities and inorder to avoid the students from fighting during the journey to the Academy, the military decided to create something that will hinder the students from using their abilities."

And while they were pondering on what to do, a scientist named Desmond Elliot had addressed the military and had proposed the idea of creating an ability Hinderer painting, since there are some people with a paint ability. The ability hinderer painting is said to have been used by our forefathers in the olden days. It is used in those days to drive away all evil from the palace and the village. But only a few people knew of the usefulness of this paint nowadays. Desmond Elliot had brought up a good suggestion which worked in favour of the military. Desmond Elliot was said to be the one who had introduced the use of abilities to human and everyone is grateful for what he did.

The bus had started moving and while the duo were on their way to the Academy, they kept on chatting about school and all. Xinny had also explained all what Xin needs to know about her brother and school.

About three hours later, the bus stopped and the door of the bus was opened for the two students to exit.

"We're here." Xinny announced as she got off the bus.

Xin couldn't believe what he saw as he boarded the bus. It was like he just arrived in a Disneyland of some sort.

"Wait, is this your school? The Military school??"
