" Who can be at this time? ", Jacob asked, surprised.
" Only one way to find out. ", Lilly said as she walked to the door to see through the screen for safety.
" Oh, no need to worry. It is just Alex and Emma. I forgot to tell you that they told me that they were planning to visit", she said to Jacob as she opened the door for them.
" You should have told me….. ", he said but before he could complete, Alex and Emma came in.
" Told him what? ", Emma asked Lilly, entering as she only heard the last part of the conversation.
" That you guys were coming. ", Lilly replied nonchalantly.
" You did not tell him yet. "
" No, I was too busy to get time for that. ", she replied, shrugging off.
After that all of them sat in the drawing room as Lilly served them some snacks.
" What is the need for this? No one is hungry and even if someone is, they can get it by themselves. ", Emma said to which Lilly just smiled.
