" But how did Mom let you come till my room? No matter how much she liked you, she is not dumb enough to let a man even come to my room. "
Lilly's question made Alex freeze as he diverted his eyes and crossed his feet in a defensive position. He was feeling guilty.
" What's wrong? Did you do something to her with your powers? ", Lilly asked, seeing the change in Alex's behaviour and body language.
Alex's eyes widened at Lilly's guess.
" So you really did. ", Lilly exclaimed in realisation.
" I.. I am sorry Lilly but... but I thought that would be best, in case she opens the box. ", Alex replied, stuttering continuously.
Then he went on explaining that he thought that he should give the box to her by his own self as there was risk of her mother opening it and seeing the contents in it. Even if it was labelled as tomato juice, anybody could tell that it wasn't. He kept on going for five minutes but he was just met with silence.
