It was already night by the time Lilly's father returned from work.
" Dad. ", she said as she pounced on him telling him that she missed him.
Laughing happily, he hugged her back and patted her head.
" Oh sweetheart, you are getting too heavy for Dad now. Your Dad is growing older and older. ", he said, still holding his daughter with both hands as if she would break if he let her go.
After hugging for some time, Lilly let her father go as he kept his things aside and sat in the living room with his previous daughter.
" I heard about you from your mother. ", he said, lightly patting Lilly's hand.
" I am fine Dad. The doctor said that it doesn't matter because I just don't remember some memories. ", Lilly said.
She was just trying to explain her father while her mother and brother just sat there, purposely leaving whatever they were doing to spend time with Lilly, without making it look concerning.
