While Raimon admired the events taking place through the window of Cailleach Castle along with his mother Duchess Dalia and Duke Raion, Eclipse who had disappeared since the moment before Raimon and Reineza were attacked at the foot of the mountain spoke.
Eclipse was communicating with Raimon by spiritual connection.
"Little boy, you survived."
"Eclipse, where the hell was you, why do you look like a cheetah?"
"And what are you doing lying on the floor of this bed?"
"Your little maid was very helpful, before you were brought back to the Duchy I explained to her that I was your spirit guardian. I only had to reply that her strawberry tarts were delicious and she brought me with you."
"Those little bastards that attacked used a very strange aura that kept me from getting close to you, I've never seen it before."
"The world feels different, from the moment I entered the Duchy I noticed an anomaly in the north."
"It was as if a pair of yellow eyes full of oppression ran through my body the moment I entered the Duchy with you."
"I will try to keep a low profile."
"Your grandfather also entered the rank of the gods which is something extraordinary."
"But something feels strange, your grandfather's power doesn't feel pure, it feels a different power than the Flower's."
"I'm not talking about the power of the thunder giants, it's normal for the family's blood to be mixed."
"There is something different in its divinity, it is not pure and feels like a primordial God, but I am sure it is not from your family's blood God."
"Spiritual power is derived from thunder. In that case, where does the silver power come from?"
It was a simple and short question. However, it was full of divine subtlety.
"I imagine they come from Thapir."
"It is not 'I imagine.' All the thunder in this world unmistakably comes from Thapir. He is the master of all the thunder in the world, and apparently, your grandfather is his only contractor."
Eclipse expressed forcefully as he continued.
"In other words, you too can become the master of all the Thunder in the world."
As Raimon continued to listen to Eclipse's words the countless offshoots around the giant called 'thunderers' would gather at a singular point.
Something like a 'sea' by Balar Flower.
That was the theory behind the release of spiritual energy.
The spiritual energy of the ancient Duke Balar began to swirl into countless tiny vortices, no bigger than plums. Suddenly, they coalesced and created a bright, colorful pattern.
"Pay close attention to what is about to happen."
Raimon concentrated all his senses and observed his surroundings. He had the feeling that time had slowed to a crawl as he tried to see what change the energy release would bring.
"What the hell!
Raimon could only gasp in amazement when he noticed a big change.
Near the window, behind the silver giant, several thunder and lightning bolts were forming a throne.
The thunder from these light sources in the sky stretched out like long streams of water and began to flow toward the whirlpool of energy from the former Duke Balar.
Raimon turned to observe the other objects outside Castle Cailleach, and the same phenomenon affected the entire Duchy sky.
Soon, sudden dizziness struck the boy.
A powerful feeling of dissociation came over him. He could feel the damp sweat on his tightly clenched fist. An impulse to take several steps backward arose in him.
Is this an illusion?
As soon as these thoughts came to him, Raimon shook his head to clear his mind. However, the phenomenon occurring before him was not an illusion. The surrounding thunder was indeed gathering towards the golden throne.
It looked like a supernatural spectacle.
The overwhelmingly menacing aura surrounding the throne made Raimon's hair stand on end.
It was as if... not a single existence in this world could kill the being before him.
And Raimon instinctively realized that he could not let that menacing aura crush his spirit. According to Eclipse, those who should tremble in fear were those north of the Duchy.
For one day, Raimon would be the one to wield his strength against that dark and terrifying power.
Eclipse smiled as he saw the fear dissipate from the boy's eyes.
"Good. That must be the attitude of the promised contractor of a thousand years."
Swoosh...
The thunder vortex soon stopped its motion, and the rivers of lightning returned to a single direction, north.
After going through an intense experience about the scope of this power, the usually peaceful and calm scenery around him felt somewhat pleasant, unlike before.
It was as if the apocalypse had passed. Or perhaps as if a festival had finally ended.
The last stream of thunder reached its original object, and the oppressive atmosphere had completely vanished.
Raimon was sweating profusely, but he flashed a refreshing smile as he pulled his sodden shirt away from his chest.
"How did it go?"
"Awesome."
"That's it? You do realize that was the death blow from a powerhouse in God's range, right?"
"It was as if Grandfather had total control over the thunder inside Castle Cailleach."
Eclipse nodded, seemingly pleased by Raimon's spontaneous comment.
"Something is strange, your grandfather formed the throne of divinity, but he didn't appear from start to finish, he just cast divine punishment directly to the north."
"Do you know anything about what happens north of Duchy child?"
"No, from the family history books I got at Castle Blood it only mentions that in the north of the Duchy is the Red Fortress built about 100 years ago by the previous head of the family."
"It is said to be the resting place of all the former Dukes when they retire and pass the throne of the Duchy to their descendants."
"The supreme thunder... I haven't heard that expression in a long time. Since ancient times, people have loved to associate spiritual power users with those kinds of words and expressions."
"Things like 'Ruler,' or 'Creator.' They're pretty childish, honestly."
"Yes, that's very embarrassing."
"I know, right? And 'Ruler' is a nickname that carries so many misconceptions and prejudices... FYI, people used to call me that about two thousand years ago. It's technically not wrong to call me that. Bwahahahaha!"
"Is this dragon seriously telling such cheap jokes in front of a child?
Raimon swallowed his answer and let out a chuckle.
"Hm, in any case, do you understand what God's rank spiritual energy release is? Technically, it's like a different version of blood aura release, so I guess you understand the principle behind it."
"If you want to reach God's rank as a warrior or knight you don't just have to be a blood aura master, the spiritual energy that best suits yourself is the key to advancement."
"I understand well. Just give me time. I think I'll be able to do it."
"Get off your high horse, kid. As I said before, releasing spiritual energy is not something you can master in a short period..."
"I know."
"Grandpa's strong, isn't he?"
"Of course he is, you can rest assured, the crazy people who attacked you are going to suffer."
"Since ancient times your family is one of the crazy people who destroy everything when someone attacks the puppies of his family."
"Like those fools who snuck the Blood Castle before, no one ends well."
"Baby, you need to hurry up and get stronger."
"Ever since we left Blood Castle something is making me uneasy, the Thunder Continent doesn't feel right."
"That pair of eyes that saw me from the north don't give me a very good feeling."
"I know."
