A few hours passed while Raimon and Duchess Dalia trained in the top floor hall of Castle Cailleach.
Raimon was learning blood aura release along with his spiritual power as Duchess Dalia was an expert in this field.
"I didn't mean that I could master the technique with your level of proficiency in an hour, but I think I could at least achieve a small release of energy."
"You know, how the simplest of sword cuts performed by a novice and a sword master can be completely different by adding a little spiritual power."
"Exactly!"
"That's why I said that the release of spiritual power is both a basic and lethal move."
"So what level of mastery did the technique you showed me a moment ago have?"
"Around the intermediate level. Maybe a little above intermediate."
Intermediate.
Raimon was sure of himself. Even if a great sorcerer of any famous family performed a nine-star magic spell, it would be no stronger than the energy release he had observed a moment ago.
Duchess Dahlia had not used spiritual energy to destroy anything to show her strength on the level of a star, so Raimon had no concrete evidence to back up his opinion. However, even if he did not see its destructive power with his own eyes, he could accurately perceive the superiority of spiritual power over the one-star spells he had practiced with Eclipse in the Blood Castle.
"If you completely master this technique, you could even annihilate an army of a million people in an instant."
Mastering the blood aura along with spiritual power minimizes energy consumption in prolonged fights. Managing to kill people of your level with less effort is synonymous with death for any enemy.
Crack!
"However, this technique is very dangerous since if it is out of control it is synonymous with destruction."
Raimon could not hide his astonishment and stared at the staff in Duchess Dalia's hand.
"Still, damn it! She did her best to restrain herself from destroying anything, so why did those parts of the floor break? We'll have to fix them before we leave class. What a bummer."
Crack, crack!
The floor wasn't the only thing that broke. The stone parts of the room where Raimon practiced together with Duchess Dalia had large cracks.
"Fuck."
A deep sigh escaped Duchess Dalia's mouth as she frowned. She now had small tasks to do while she waited for Raimon to understand her strength from here on out.
During Duchess Dalia's departure at the end of class and inside Raimon's room a meeting was taking place.
Reineza, Eclipse, and Raimon were discussing the next training period.
****
Two days passed in an instant.
"Oh yeah? A hundred gold coins. A bag of gold coins... Eclipse. Where did you get that money?
"I borrowed it for a strawberry shortcake. Wow, the Flower's nanny's salary was huge."
When Raimon turned to Reineza, he only coughed in vain.
"Hu, if you need money from now on, don't steal it from Reineza and tell me."
"Really? Then I'll take a thousand gold coins for now."
"You have to prepare a report saying what you need a thousand gold coins for. Reineza, and I'd like a simple meal, please."
Eclipse covered the spring season food at the same speed as light and began eating and writing reports immediately.
The sight of a Leopard muttering something alone almost made me feel creepily obsessed, so Raimon stuck out his tongue.
"You didn't eat it?"
"I ate, but I'm at the height of my growth."
"What should I make?"
"It's just a sandwich."
"Strawberry shortcake, I want strawberry shortcake, please."
An hour passed when Raimon finished eating.
Before Duchess Dalia's training began, for two hours Raimon trained alone in releasing blood aura with spiritual power from one side of the room.
"The blood aura is now two stars away... four stars per spell, two per sword."
After leaving the training in the flower garden, this was the result of Raimon's last four years in Castle Cailleach.
the release of blood aura with spiritual power is in the midst of the remarkable and rapid progress under the supervision of Eclipse, but the spiritual power has developed too slowly for Raimon to feel it. I couldn't use spells in Garden, so I can't help it.
Still, it was comforting to use normal four-star spells at 14 compared to the geniuses of the Empire.
Swordsmanship is also more than a year ahead of the "average of all swordsmen" from 16 to 3 stars.
Raimon's growth was going smoothly.
* * *
The best thing is to feel yourself getting stronger every day.
Raimon's hard training, daily reading of visionary notes, and strengthening his spirit whenever he has time.
For Raimon, everything is more fun than resting or playing.
But even for Raimon's training... Duchess Dalia worked hard on herself to exploit all the talent of her son.
"If my brothers, who envy me, are trained by Duchess Dalia their mother, I'm sure their jealousy will disappear."
Raimon looked at Duchess Dalia, swallowing a bitter smile.
"Dear Son."
"Yes, mother."
"Today's training will be the same as yesterday's."
"I know."
"But you will have to treat this same training differently each day."
"Yes."
Duchess Dalia walked over to Raimon and closed her eyes.
Raimon closed his eyes behind her.
Now the lines he had heard every day for the past few months would begin.
"My son."
"In the soul... ...with the eyes of the soul, you will be able to see the spirit."
"With the eyes of the soul... look."
This is what hard work is.
Duchess Dalia methodically, intuitively, and physically painfully trained Raimon.
Always.
In the soul... ... with the eyes!
I just say look.
'I'm going crazy.
Raimon has often heard of the "soul" as pronounced by more of the eight-star knights and warriors.
But generally, using the soul for battle begins to prepare for the seven-star knights and warriors.
This is static training.
"I feel that I am naturally spreading the power of the soul everywhere.
"Why don't you do anything, just tell me to open my eyes?"
I have never heard of such training.
"For those who want to move forward with blade management and spiritual power, getting peace of mind is paramount. Never, never open your eyes."
However, Raimon closed his eyes and followed Duchess Dalia's words because he knew her character. Duchess Dalia is also the strongest of the 13 Flower Knights recognized by the Solar Empire.
If the other knights had trained him to do this, he would have taken it as a trick to hinder growth.
"Someday you will understand your mother's training."
The two stood face to face like that, eyes closed until nightfall. When the training was over, Duchess Dahlia said with a cold smile.
"You've done a great job today too. It's good to be back now, my son."
I don't know what the hell she did but Raimon just had to nod.
When Duchess Dalia saw Raimon leaving, she thought:
"This is what I thought. The incredible concentration you show when you close your eyes, and the retention that lasts for hours... Raimon's potential will show in a few years. Let's continue as it is now."
Duchess Dalia closed her eyes again with a pleasing smile.
Raimon was once again a point of enlightenment for her, who had already met the limit of strength she could.
