Xaloc did not drink the blood. He carefully wrapped it in the leaf, then a piece of fur before he placed it in his cloth. He then picked the roasted men and bit into it.
The meat was not cooled properly but he could feel his strength returning. A few more bites and he finished the meat.
"Thank you!"
Uriel was still sulking but he murmured that he had accepted Xaloc's thanks.
"How long have I been sleeping for?'" Xaloc asked.
"Three nights." Uriel rested his chin on his hand as he continued to stare at Xaloc.
Xaloc did not pay him any more attention as he lay his head on the same, rested on the wall on the wall of the cave and closed his eyes.
Xaloc stood up the moment the sky had brightened a bit and strolled to the entrance. He looked back and Uriel was looking at him like he was a wicked owner abandoning his pet.
"Are you not coming?" He asked casually.
