"This box seems to contain something from the goddess Nyx."
Xaloc could feel his heart drop after he heard the information from Rose. He could see her smile and knew that this woman did not plan to let him leave this place alive.
Rose continued to speak with a smile. "What we want from you isn't much. You just need to spill some blood into this box."
She gestured to the ornate dagger. It was a beautiful dagger with a blue sheath.
"Nothing bad would happen, right?" He asked as he collected the dagger from her, slightly touching her hand in the process. He then prepared to use the tip of the dagger to poke his finger.
Rose gritted her teeth, "Nothing would happen. Are you not a man? Just slit the wrist."
Xaloc's eyes twitched but he lowered his gaze, "That is too dangerous. I will cut my palm instead."
Rose shrugged as if to say suit yourself.
