The Director's answer caught all the Marshals off guard, especially Old Seven. He was just about to open his mouth but the Director raised his hand, stopping him abruptly.
"You guys really underestimate the power of Humanity. During the old days, even the Ancestors had to be polite to those warrior clans, have you forgotten what happened during that time."
Just this single dialogue silenced the Marshals. The Director did not mind and continued.
"As for my third demand. Don't you think the war has been going on for too long? I believe it's time for us to depart and continue with our mission."
Once again, the Marshals were shocked. The always calm Marshals had varying degrees of emotions portraying happiness, despair and rage on their faces making them seem like a fool.
The Director calmly looked at Old Seven waiting for an answer.
-Sigh-
Old Seven let out a deep sigh before continuing.
