Diving towards the Layer above was the Fightercraft under the command of Lieutenant General Mata.
"Commander approaching visible range." One of the officers on the deck reported.
Mata nodded towards the officer and proceeded to order, "Display the view on the screen."
After a few short adjustments, the scene on the screen became clear, but a heavy silence had descended on the deck. The feed that they were observing created a sense of dread within them.
"Scan for anomalies," Mata ordered, trying to remain as calm as possible for she knew a commander could not lose his calm even during his death.
But before the order could be completed----
A short glitch happened and everything turned dark. The whole Fightercraft trembled before the propulsion system went offline and the deck was enshrouded in dense darkness when the backup systems kicked in, drenching the entire deck in crimson red.
