Scenting was an act that hadn't been carried out for ages by any pack. Even almost every Alpha can scent their members, but the energy it takes for Alphas t9 complete that missi9n makes it almost impossible to carry out the act.
So when I said I was going to scent mark the pub as a gift, I understood why everyone is so shocked. Scenting hasn't been carried out in ages although it is the best form of gift you can ever gift to a pack member.
But for me, making the choice to scent mark the wolves that were celebrating their coming-of-age age today was something I have thought about long and hard. It will be killing two birds with one stone.
I needed to let the pack know that their Alpha was back with them and was ready to protect them, I needed to reassure the pack that I could handle the dangers that seem to raise their heads, and I was ready to sharpen the edge of my sword. Ready for battle.
