"Yes, I killed him." the woman stared back with blank eyes.
There was no fear or emotions in her eyes as if she was dead. Her clothes were torn a bit and her hair were disheveled. The man flinched by her cold voice while the knights felt bad for her. They stared at Alex to give them orders to take away the girl immediately. She could not be blamed for things that happened, since she was only doing her defense but Alex's eyes were fixed on body.
He was staring at the body so hard. As if it would come back to life if he continued to stare at it.
"Master!" His silence was scary. They were getting afraid for the woman who did not utter a single word. She continued to sit there like a body without a soul.
Alex finally raised his head and stared at the girl.
"What do you used to do?" he took a step closer to the woman who flinched but did not move away.
"I used to be a cleaning maid at the palace of Sonarise." she whispered softly, her eyes finally showed an emotion of grief and longing when Alex turned to look at Ethan.
"Help her in getting treatment and then take him to my abode. She will take care of my meals from now on. No one needed to know what happened here and she had not killed anyone." through a bit surprised, the knights felt relieved for the girl they were sympathizing for.
They felt a bit hesitant in holding her hands so they asked the other girls to hold her and took all of the girls away.
The clients were already thrown out so the building was empty with only Alex and the pimp standing in the small room that was almost dark with a dead body.
"Where have you found her?"
"She was so meek I never thought that she could do this, sir Alex. I promise that I did not know anything about it." the man panicked when he felt the overbearing aura of the fearsome man who could kill him without thinking twice.
Alex, who was still scanning the room as if he was looking for something, walked towards the curtain and opened it abruptly.
The opened window creaked a bit as its pane shook a bit while the cold wind swept his hair. A crooked smile formed on his face as if he had found the hidden treasure confusing the man who was on his knees.
"You did not need to worry about that. Forget that you have ever met her.`` The man was more than happy to oblige. He nodded his head and took the money thrown by Alex on the floor and ran out of the room feeling nauseated.
He could not believe that he had spent an hour with a corpse. Alex walked back to the body, which had a single neat and deep cut on his chest where his heart was and chuckled as if he had found the greatest joke.
"Dispose of the body and clean the room. This is going to be interesting." the knight scratched his head as Alex left the room. He did not understand what was so interesting about a strange man's death.
On the other side of the town.
Gabe finished his meal and then packed his bags. They would leave as soon as Alan would come back. He had already wasted so much time in this town when his comrades would be snatching the powers that belonged to them.
He gritted his teeth with that thought. They intentionally sent him here so that he would not be able to fight for a better post or reward.
"Knock knock." he frowned when he heard the sound on the door.
"These foolish people! They did not know how to let others be at peace." frowning he closed his bag with a bit more force breaking the chain in the process.
"Who is it?" The voice came out with so much pressure that it felt like he would have beaten the person if he would have been standing closer.
"We… I was asked to meet you by your friend. He had paid me a good sum for…" the voice of a scared woman fell in his ears and stopped abruptly as if she was too afraid to speak further when he rubbed his forehead.
He had told Alan that he did not need a woman but that chivalrous man never listened. With a deep sigh, he opened the door and found a young woman that was too slim but had voluptuous breasts.
Her dark hair was hiding most of her face but even her sexy body was enough to bring him attention. She was looking so damn hot in that backless gown.

"Drop your clothes off first." he demanded in a cold voice when the girl flinched.
"Umm, can you close your eyes for a few seconds then?" she whispered meekly when he chuckled but nodded his head and closed his eyes.
He would open them when she would be busy taking off her dress, he concluded but his eyes opened wide in just 5 seconds when he felt deep pain in his heart.
The girl was staring back at him but her dark hair was gone and replaced by small silver hair.
