Oli was still in the daze when Alex started to drag her out of the inn.
They have already achieved their target. The man was beaten badly and suffered a lot. Now he was a laughing stock. Alex was sure he would not be able to find another girl ever again.
But that was not what took his attention. When the man had started to act rashly, instead of taking care of the situation, Oli looked lost.
As if she was not there even when she was standing in front of him. Even now, though she had smiled on him, she looked a bit dazed.
Her steps were pausing every now and then and if not for his dragging she would have stopped a long ago and standing at the street with an absent look on his face.
The street was full of men and women as this was one of the busiest streets of the town with so many shops around them and a lot of small stalls of snacks. It was full of crowds.
