I kept walking around in the garden forest again. This was my seventh time there, I never knew my purpose for coming to this place all over again. I walked and walked but never found a thing..it was always vast barren lands upon lands that my eyes always hurt whenever I tried to peer over!
The sun above was glaring hot and there was no shelter to sheild me from the sun, not to forget the thirst! At this moment, I could swallow my tongue but despite how hard l searched, there was no water source. All I could do was drown in my own sweat and stumble upon my feet as I pushed myself forward. I was so tired. Lapping at my chapped lips to give them some moisture, I hissed at the pain, probably wounded! Lapping at them wasn't a good idea! I Gave up on that and continued to walk not knowing my destination.
After Walking for I'm sure a whole day and night despite having not seen the stars above my head even when I fell asleep, I woke up to the sound of soft waves crashing aganist rocks? Not sure! An ocean perhaps? I'd have to find out! It was like a new found energy and i forced my sore body off the hard ground, bones cracking as I tried to straighten up. The sun had not receeded one bit and it seemed to get only more ruthless!
So much for tanning under the summer suns! It wasn't that exciting anymore as it felt like hell had been placed just above my head as I served as the wood that helped it burn!
I finally reached the source of the waves and I wasn't disappointed to say the least. I hadn't seen an ocean before but I heard tales of how giagantic it was and despite belonging to the most adventurous species, I personally preferred to stay home and snooze about all day
Not sure if this was the ocean! It's size wasn't as colossal as it had been described as it was just the right size to fit the whole of me! Yep, standing at most five something feet, I wondered how such a small water body gave off fierce sounds of waves.
That not my concern, what now was the main reason for my search was to quench my thirst! But such a place surely had its owner! I wasn't up for a fight but a sip wouldn't hurt! I some how had to do this fast before the owner returned and found me!
Looking around one last time to ensure that the coast was clear, I dived and greedily lapped at the water like a starved dog! Not that I wasn't. Chocking a couple of times, I still went at the water drinking greedily as if it were my last time on earth!
Finally filling my stomach to the brim with water, I took the chance to look at my reflection In the water and I couldn't help the scream that escaped my lips as I fell back from the horrid eyes that were starring right at me!
Those black bottomless eyes! They were here too!
..... ..... ...
I woke up with a startle, my breathing laboured. I looked around the room which was brightly lit? Wait, I didn't....
"Luna, your up?!" A woman older than myself came to me with the biggest smile but it faded seeing my disoriented look, she rushed over to me and sat on the bed while the only thing I did was observe her. "Who is she?!"
"Alpha assigned me to come and help you prepare for the ceremony. My name is Rose." the elder woman spoke and I gave her a small smile despite the fear of the the dream I had not long ago.
She helped me out of the bed and we went to the bath which was scented. Had it been any other time, I'd gladly bask in this sweet scented bath but the fact that our pack was under attack from the carnivorous alpha, it didn't bring the joy I had been longing for in my transformation ceremony...I was only dreading what could happen or worse go wrong! Would we win or would we be taken down and our pack would have to submit to some cruel alpha? I now knew what it felt like being a Luna even before I'm officially one. I felt the stress eating at my head.
Looking at the woman stating back at me in the mirror, she was beautiful.....yes, I was officially going to become a woman, a lady to my pack but under all circumstances, I felt that I wasn't ready! I wasn't at all!
"Luna is so beautiful! The moon goddess made the best choice for us!" Rose spoke and I looked at her reflection. "I'm scared." I said and she looked back at me. She was around the age of my mother....or should I say sister in law.
It's always scary but we still find our way around." she brushed my hair. "And I believe you'll do just fine, Luna." she smiled at me. The trust she held for me in her eyes weighed me further down and that's when it finally hit me that my life is not about myself alone anymore...it was about the whole pack now.

Has there been any inflitration?" Wayne asked one of his warriors from the northern border.
"No Alpha!" the warrior reported. They had been on alert for hours now but they hadn't caught sight of a single wolf.
"Keep alert!" Alpha Wayne said and turned to his Beta. He gave his signal and shifted then ran off back to the packhouse where his mate was soon going to be initiated into adulthood.
He had the privilege to do so since on ther borders, enough wolfsbane had been put to keep wolves at a distance thanks to their pack witch who wasn't affected by the wolfsbane.

The metal chains clunged and the doors to the dungeons opened getting the writhing Conner's attention. His jaw was clenched tight as he drenched in his own sweat....no one had been there to help him through his first shift which was a painful and traumatic event that some of the new wolves either died or failed to control their wolves turning feral from the pain. He had been writhing with no special herb to help alleviate the pain or even the emotional support of his loved ones.
He looked at the unfamiliar figures that had come into his cell. He half snarled at them to go away, his claws ripped through his skin and he screamed at the pain forgetting those around him. He needee to get to the initation grounds to get help! He eyed the opened door fighting hard to breathe as his tears fell. The pain was brain numbing, he forced himself to stand up but fell back to the ground unceremoniously. Help!!!" he pleaded seeing that the figures were doing nothing to help him despite seeing him in pain. Were they here to kill him? Were they enjoying watching his agonising shift? Would he die here in the cold dungeons...? Would he never get to see his beloved? It was all because of Alpha Wayne that all this was happening!!!! If he had a chance to another life, he'd get back at that wolf for what he had dkne to his life! If not for him, he'd be with his beloved and they'd shift together and he'd get to witness this beautiful moment and imprint it in his mind!
Was he going to be among thsoe that won t be able to make it through his first shift? Is he going to die?! He couldn't help but wonder as he begun seeing black dots filling his vision. He knew this was his time....., he was going to die in the day he was meant to shift. He trembled and spasmed on the cold hard floor till he lost conciousness.
What should we do?" one of the men that had come to the cage asked.
"He is the Alpha's nephew....we can't leave him behind!" The other said looking at the young boy who was half shifted with white fur sprouting from his skin follicles.
"But his transformation has not completed!" The one who spoke first said with a frown.
"He'll finally complete it. We should inly help him out to the moon and he'll be forced to complete it. Firstly get some herbs to help with the pain....we don't want a white feral wolf in the loose....those ones aren't nice to meddle with!" his college aid and turned to leave.
"Wait! Are you leaving me with a half shifted wolf, how am I to help him out?! Let's carry him together!!! You can't do this!!!" The one that had been left behind complained only to be ignored. He turned to look at the unconscious boy. "Be thankful that you are the Alpha's nephew or else!!!!" he glared hard but still carried the halfshifted Conner and took him out.
