"Hey, you look happy."
They meet in the corridor. Vyra suddenly came to Rainn who was walking alone after entering the gate.
"Yeah," Rainn replied with a smile he couldn't hide.
Vyra looked at him, "I don't know what happened. But whatever it looks good for you."
Rainn didn't answer. After all, he wouldn't be able to say that he had managed to kill a Vampire. A supernatural being that was previously thought to be extinct after the great war three thousand years ago.
They walk together in the corridor. Vyra's presence next to Rainn invited questioning glances from the many students around them.
"So," Vyra said, then bit her lip. "Are you not willing to join my guild?"
"Sorry but I can't," Rainn replied. "You can find stronger people for your guild, right? I'm sure you'll have no trouble finding them."
"Yeah, but..." Vyra stared ahead with a dreamy look. "I want to create a different guild than before. If I recruit the same kind of people, then there won't be any different. And you're pretty strong, right?"
Rainn turned to Vyra. 'This girl is serious,' Rainn thought. But he really couldn't join. If the situation wasn't like this where he had a mysterious strange power, it seemed like Rainn would have accepted her offer.
"You know there's been a horrendous murder going on?" Vyra asked, suddenly changing the topic.
"I know," Rainn replied. "And you know who the victims were?"
"Yeah." Then Vyra frowned, "How do you know?"
"There's a bounty poster on the side of the road." Rainn had no trouble coming up with an excuse as there were no Al'Modred townspeople right now who didn't know about the nobleman's death.
Vyra bit her lip, looking concerned. "Well, that's not very good."
"What?"
"If the bounty is set, it means they no longer trust the Federal Bureau of Royal which handles legal affairs in this city."
Rainn snorted, "But they really can't be trusted, can they?"
Vyra looked at Rainn, "Why do you say that?"
Rainn shrugged, "That's the truth. Otherwise, why haven't they caught the culprit until now?"
Vyra narrowed her eyes. Staring at Rainn as if judging him.
"Are you criticizing the Bureau? Can you do their job?" asked Vyra.
Rainn just snorted and then chuckled. He didn't say anything and walked faster into his classroom.
Vyra looked at Rainn with a strange look. Then she shook her head and walked the other way.

Rainn immediately rushed out of the school before the bell even rang. The reason was, that he didn't want to meet Amia to attend the club. If indeed Amia decided to break their agreement regarding the 10,000 Ryo, Rainn didn't mind it because he was about to get a bigger reward.
That's why Rainn rushed out of school. Putting on a jacket he headed to district one. Where the residence of House Saniar is located.
While on the metro train, Rainn couldn't help but smile about the beautiful picture that lay before his eyes.
'Wait, but what if this doesn't go well?'
Rainn's mind suddenly said something that quenched his spirits. During this time he had always lived a difficult life. Suddenly his life changed for the better in a relatively short time. Isn't that too good to be true?
While his mind was busy overthinking, Rainn woke up to the sound of a train arriving at its destination. Rainn got out with the rest of the passengers and headed for the Saniar noble family's home address.
The house turned out to be much more luxurious than he had thought. A statue of an animal that Rainn didn't recognize and made of whatever metal it is stood towering over the three-meter-high fence.
Rainn pressed a button beside the railing. A voice answered shortly after.
'What do you need?' asked a male voice that sounded a little hoarse.
"My name is Rainn Haryl. I have come because I have succeeded in hunting down Mr. Treytan Saniar's killer," replied Rainn.
The next answer didn't come right away. There was a pause for about a minute until finally, the gate opened automatically.
Rainn went inside and walked through a long white path decorated with various kinds of flowers on the side.
'So this is a noble's house.' Rainn surveyed every side of this house. The exact measurement of the entire area of this house is unpredictable. Almost all of them were filled with larger flower gardens and of more color than Rainn had seen at the Brynelles' house.
The courtyard of this house was very spacious because there was a metal statue that gleamed in the sun. The height of the statue is about ten meters or so.
Rainn paused to observe the statue. He didn't know what animal was the inspiration for the statue. The body is long serpent-like and scaly like a fish.
There are two pairs of small legs with claws on the back near the tail and front of the body.
For the head, Rainn saw the shape of a head like a lion. With manes that somehow manage to look soft despite being made of metal. This statue was certainly made in the hands of an expert.
"Pretty impressive, isn't it?"
A voice startled Rainn from his reverie admiring the strange statue. Rainn turned and saw a man with gray hair standing not far in front of him. The man was wearing a butler outfit and gave Rainn a friendly smile.
"Yeah," Rainn replied. "I want to meet..." Rainn didn't know who to meet.
"Yes," said the man, as if understanding. "I see. Come."
Rainn followed the man into the house. This house looks like the house of a noble in general. Luxurious, huge, and lots of weird art that Rainn couldn't understand.
Rainn was brought into a room and invited to sit down. Not long after, a woman entered with a boy who looked not far from Rainn's age.
"Let me introduce myself. My name is Dynuel Saniar," said the boy. "And this is my mother, Vonyena."
"Ah, yes. My name is Rainn Haryl," replied Rainn.
Dynuel and his mother sat on the chair in front of Rainn.
"You came here because you managed to hunt down my father's killer?" Dynuel asked.
Rain nodded curtly.
"Is that so? You managed to hunt down someone that even the Investigators couldn't find?"
Rainn took out his cell phone and the pen from his pocket.
"I found this in the killer." Rainn put the pen on the table and then fiddled with his phone to show a video. "And this is the video where I managed to kill her."
Vonyena Saniar looks shaken. Her face was pale as she stared at the pen on the table. But she tried his best to stay strong.
Dynuel her son, took Rainn's cell phone and played the video. It was all quite emotional. Rainn saw a sad scene where the wife wept for her husband while holding the pen, and the son tried his best to strengthen the mother. They watch the video together.
Then the emotion of sadness turned into a sense of relief and they looked satisfied when they finished watching the contents of the video.
"You burned her?" Dynuel asked.
"Uhh, well," Rainn scratched his head. "I have my way of solving problems."
Rainn didn't want to say that they had just seen a video of a Vampire being burned. It would only raise more questions and Rainn didn't want to bother answering.
"Thank you," said Dynuel Saniar, finally. "We can't express how grateful we are to you."
"Just pay me according to the contents of the bounty," said Rainn. "Sorry, it's not that I'm not sympathetic but I'm just an ordinary bounty hunter."
Dynuel smiled, understanding, "Of course."
A moment later the butler who had escorted Rainn come in with a suitcase.
"I suppose you only want cash," said Dynuel.
Rainn nodded with a smile, "Yes." The butler put the suitcase on the table.
"Please check," said Dynuel, again.
"No." Rainn just took the suitcase and then stood up. "There's no reason for me not to believe a nobleman like you."
Dynuel flashed a faint smile at Rainn's word then stood up as well and held out his hand. Rainn welcomed the outstretched hand. "Thank you, once again."
Rainn nodded, "Yeah."
After that Rainn was ushered back out by the butler. Rainn walked out of the Saniar manor with his usual smile. That is a smile like a smirk.
His right hand felt heavy by the suitcase containing fifty million Ryo. But Rainn walked lightly.
