Chapter 54 - Are you willing to put your trust on me?

We arrived at the hotel and Soo-ah and the team is already expecting us by the suite. Of course, we didn't pass by the reception to avoid catching attention. It's the first time Jae-woo will be meeting the team and he looks amuse.

"I thought you're picking them up, sweety." I asked Soo-ah.

"Miss Lisa insisted to take the cab Miss, they are probably by the lobby now…"

Everyone is gathered at the conference area of the suite. We finished the introductions, and I left the team with Lisa. She and Chris will know what to do. Heidi and Jae-woo's lawyer came with me at the small study area in the master bedroom. Heidi distributed the copy of the contract to us. I have reviewed the copies when it was drafted and Jae-woo also made some amendments as well, so this copy is only for formality.

"Are you willing to put your trust on me?" I asked him for the last time. If this contract will be signed, Namesis would be mine. Although, only the four of us will know, it is still legally binding.

"This is your life, right?" I echoed his sentiment. He smiled and he started signing it. I knew what that smile meant. You are my life now, Ara. And just like that, for $320M dollars Nam Jae-woo entrusted me his life.

His lawyer left after the signing of contract. He asked to be left in the room while Heidi and I went out to rejoin the team. Lisa managed to book a banquet hall at the hotel for Thursday. I know she will take care of things. That's why she's here, she has contacts everywhere, that's her job. The team planned to go out for dinner. They said their goodbyes. Soo-ah handed us the invitation of her wedding. I was surprise to know that Lisa already know about this before me. Of course, Lisa is Soo-ah's immediate superior, what would I expect.

"Jae-woo is still here," I informed Lisa.

"Good. I will finally be able to talk to him." She quipped.

"I'll head for shower first…" Heidi declared.

"I will be right next to you…" seconded Lisa.

"Would you want to go down for dinner, or I'll order room service?"

"We will have to rest for now, so room service would be perfect…" Lisa replied.

I went to the master's bedroom expecting to find him busy, but he was dozing off. He must have been tired. I sat beside him studying his face. He looked like he had aged since the first time we met. He still as handsome as ever. I touch his face, his nose, his lips…then he caught my hands.

"I am the stalker here, not you…" he voiced.

"I thought you were busy with something; you must be so tired…" I confirmed. He pulled me over him.

"Not anymore, I'm not…" he teased and started to seduce his way, breathing through my ears, and planting kisses on my neck.

"Everybody's gone. Well, except Lisa and Heidi…I came to ask what you wanted for dinner, I'll order room service…" I broke out from his hugged before things get heated.

"You…" he pulled me back and started kissing my lips.

"We have company, and they are expecting dinner…" I avoided his playfulness. I missed him as much as he does but I feel uneasy knowing that Lisa is in the other room.

"Go home with me tonight…" he suggested.

"Will you be talking to me then?" I hinted. I know he knows what I'm talking about. He smirked.

"I'll call room service…" he stood out of bed and reach for the phone.

We are sitting by the dining area of the suite when Lisa and Heidi finally joined us.

"So, you're the infamous Nam Jae-woo who is making us work overtime, huh?" Lisa is straightforward.

"I'm sorry to hear that. Pleasure to finally meet you…" he is polite. He knows Lisa is my childhood friend.

"As long as we are paid properly, we don't really have any complaints…" she joked.

"Huh, this is the first time that you really have a real work…you should be thanking us for giving you something to do…" I retorted.

The food arrived after almost an hour. They gave us a complimentary champagne, and some amuse bouche courtesy of the chef. They sure know how to take care of their important guests. I'm just wondering what Soo-ah told the manager about the guests in this room.

"Hey, I didn't know that you've known about Soo-ah getting married…" I started with the casual conversation. I wanted to know how much she know.

"We met her boyfriend even before they are in a relationship. Of course, she has to report to me if something is happening to her," she just replied casually.

"Soo-ah is getting married?" even Jae-woo is surprise.

"Apparently. I just found out about her having a boyfriend a month ago, when he had the thesis defense, and now she's getting married…" I showed him the invitation.

"Send my regards…" he remarked.

"Tell her yourself… you're invited as well."

"Would you not want to turn around Seoul tomorrow, Heids…" I turned to Heidi. Heidi had been with me for 2 years when I started my publishing house and my other venture. I needed to have a personal lawyer to deal with my other private stuff, something that even Lisa shouldn't know about. Lisa respect this and she knows to keep our boundaries when it comes to this.

"I actually want to ask if there's nothing else I can help out her. I'm planning to go home…" she declared.

"Home? As in, to the Philippines?" me and Lisa almost in unison.

"Yes."

She has been with me in Copenhagen for 2 months now, her visa will be expiring in a month and while I'm not there she doesn't really have anything in particular to do. She has also her family in the Philippines. I've known her through my sister. They were friends since primary school days, she left her twins aged 4 to her husband, of course she must have missed them. Although, her work with me requires travelling, she is still affiliated with his family's firm back in the Philippines.

Lisa looked at me, she must have been intrigued as to what Heidi is really doing here. I caught her eye earlier when we went to the study. I knew she have a lot of questions, and I'm beginning to think that she even has her own suspicion. I took care of all my private accounts, so she doesn't know anything about it. But for finances connected to the publishing house, the new books, the restaurant and House2Home, she knows how much I'm worth. I brought her to work with me when I decided to start my publishing house. I made her the COO and she had been with me for 4 years now.

"You may go…I will just call you if there's anything else I need. Lis and the team will manage here…we'll be fine."

"Thank you, ate…"

"Whoa…" even Lisa laughed when she heard it. Ate, is big sis in Tagalog. We always just call each other by name. We don't really differentiate our age.
