She casually started the conversation, Tiffany smiled and said, "George, when did you change your watch? I remember you've been wearing the one I bought for you. Is it not suitable?"
Tiffany Lynch had a good sense of style, and the things she picked were great, but the watch on George River's wrist was obviously an old model from a few years ago and not particularly expensive.
At least not something people from their kind of family background would appreciate.
George didn't seem to have any reaction, "The previous one broke, so I just picked up something to wear."
A hint of sourness arose within Tiffany, but she could only play dumb with a smile on her face, "Is that so."
George didn't respond further, causing the atmosphere between the two to become awkward and icy.
At least it didn't feel as intimate as before.
They didn't behave like a couple.
Tiffany lowered her head, stirring up her emotions, knowing how to win a man's sympathy, and how to reclaim something for herself.
