Chapter 135 - Theory

Thea cried and even asked Marc to stay away and said that she hated Marc—hated everything Marc did. But Marc again chose to ignore it. This time he was truly sorry, feeling stupid for hurting his girl for the umpteenth time.

"Leave me alone," Thea pleaded with the sobs she was trying to stop.

While hugging Thea tightly, Marc cried too. "I'm sorry," he added. "I'll find a cure for your wound."

Thea is hysterical. But Marc kept the girl in the clean tunic he had taken from the chest, where he kept all the clothes. He then called Julien, asking Julien to come and take his place to look after Thea while he went to find an antidote for Thea's wounds without telling anyone what it was, including Sebastian, who had prevented him from leaving.
