"What do you think you are doing, you wrench? I was supposed to interview them!" That was a lot louder, and the noise wasn't going away. Lucy blinked her eyes a few times and had a hard time keeping them open. But in the end, she won. Hearing the whimper and screaming, she took out her phone and hit record.
She got up from her bench and emerged from the corner just in time to catch a slap. Catch it with her face, instead of the other person that was cowering in front of her.
"What the fuck?!" she exclaimed in English, stunned by this wake-up call. Lucy placed her palm on her face and then looked around. There were no cams there. No one could see what she would do. That was good… That was excellent.
"I hate being slapped. Can you apologize? For waking me up and then beating me up?" she asked, still trying not to be violent, but that bitch had a fit.
Instead of apologizing, she slapped Lucy once more, now even more, that she felt a sting in her cheek, being sure it was red now.
"It's your fault you disturbed me. Who do you think you are?! You trash do you think I should apologize to you? You should just shut up and fucking go your way!" Lucy shook her head with her eyes open wide. She ended the recording, making sure she got that woman's face and put her phone back in her back pocket. Stretching her upper body and hands, Lucy looked around once more.
She made a step forward to the woman and poked her just under her sternum. It wasn't with force, but enough to make that bitch bend and gasp for air.
"I'm really cranky when I get up… I just asked for an apology. Be glad I only struck once," Lucy intended to pass by that pissed woman, but she was determined to piss Lucy off.
"You bitch, I will make you lose your job!" she shouted. That actually got Lucy's attention, but for a different reason than that woman thought. Lucy's eyes sparkled.
"Can you? Please do it!" she exclaimed, not feigning the excitement in her voice. It confused both of the women. Even the second one that was crouching on the floor before was now standing and staring at Lucy in confusion.
"I guess you are not such a big shot as you think," Lucy said, disappointed, and turned around to walk away. But she was yeeted backwards. The woman grabbed her ponytail and kept her there like a psycho.
"You are her friend, aren't you?! You both wanted to get close to them!" Lucy was now confused, even more, holding her own hair, trying to get the lady's fingers away.
"The fuck you did that she is so furious?" she asked loudly, the girl standing beside her, her head down.
"I'm the new moderator of a show she was supposed to be in. And her Seventeen just accepted the invitation. It's her favorite group." She was definitely a young girl. No wonder she was just standing aside, not even watching them wrestle for Lucy's hair.
"What's going on here?" A velvety deep voice that Lucy knew just too well sounded behind her. That crazy bitch was too stunned that she hadn't let go and just stared at Hwa.
"Let her go," he growled. Lucy was surprised to hear him like that. He sounded really angry. Those two Korean words were pronounced with menacing precision. Cold as ice. The woman let go and that stunned Lucy even more. He was just an idol, and staff members didn't have to listen to them.
Lucy turned to face Hwa but forgot the red cheek. When he saw it, his expression just turned sharp as a knife, ready to kill.
"Who did it to you?" he asked, not touching or anything. Lucy just shrugged and pointed at the crazy bitch. This wasn't anything she should take care of. And for the first time, Hwa might be somehow useful.
"How dare you? What's your name?" Lucy laughed out loud. Mainly because that bitch just turned green and then almost purple when he asked what her name was. But she didn't dare to say something to him. She definitely had to know who he was if she was working in the entertainment industry. Heck, even if she was normal, she had to see his face somewhere.
"I'm a nice person, but I hate bullies. I will definitely tell the director about this. Up to him what he will do…" Hwa turned around and walked away. Lucy followed him but took out her phone and provocatively waved it in front of that bitch's eyes. And then walked away with him.
"Ice pack!" he exclaimed after slamming the door open. Hyunjun got scared something happened to him, so he hurried to the medical kit and threw the ice pack. He was relieved when Hwa passed it to Lucy. But not for a long time. When they all saw her face.
"What happened to you?!" they yelled out. Four red streaks were on her cheek, swollen and against her pale skin. It looked too bright to miss it.
"Oh, I just met a crazy woman." Lucy waved it off and placed the old pack on her face carefully. The cold sensation was a bit of bliss, so a small moan escaped her mouth. She was lucky that the woman wasn't wearing any rings.
"Guys, are you ready to go? I'm in charge of getting you to the company. I heard you have singing lessons before mine." She smiled but winced in pain.
She looked at them. The outfits for today were really nice. Simple but fresh. Seonghwa, who said nothing the entire time, had blue ripped jeans and a white oversized turtleneck shirt with short sleeves tucked into it. Lucy had to admit his legs were long and made his body proportions completely irresistible. No wonder he had many fans.
"You are our driver today? Will you be okay?" Jaemin asked, a bit scared, but Lucy knew it was nothing. She had far worse bruises during her training.
"Put on your masks, caps, and glasses. I'm completely okay." She said, gave the ice pack back to the staff, and grabbed her bag. Lucy had to close it, even though she didn't remember leaving it open. And went to the underground garages. With the four members. And thankfully two guards.
Otherwise, she would trample over by their fans that jump right in front of the nanny car she drove. Such problematic fans…
