Lothbrok lips curled up into a perfect arc on hearing her answer.
"Very well. Shall we?" He forwarded her palm forward. Valerie hesitated for a moment. A favour means he can ask back for it and she has to comply. Even something as cruel as the destruction of human beings or witches.
Gulping hard, she finally put her hand on top of his palm. Lothbrok closed his eyes and started chanting.
"In the presence of Gyden Cytherea, Gyden—..."
"Valerie."
"In the presence of Gyden Cytherea, Gyden Valerie vows to repay with a favour the ruler of Warlocks, Lothbrok when the red moon shall arise!"
As Lothbrok chanted those words, a red light beamed from in between their palms, enveloping their hands.
Once he was done, the reg fog disappeared, a small red tinted crescent moon shape engraving at the corner of her wrist.
Valerie pulled her hand back, and looked at the red moon tattoo which soon faded into her skin like nothing happened.
"Don't worry, it's a marking. It will reappear when the time to return the favour comes." Lothbrok explains.
He waved dismissively at his soldier. The soldier bowed and opened the bind of Erbous freeing him.
"Well then, can I use magic to open the portal here and leave." Valerie inquired.
Lothbrok smiled and nodded," Yes. This place is far from alure wald. Magic is allowed."
Valerie forced a smile and agreed to it, and grabbing Erbous by his wrist she dragged him out and disappeared into thin air.
Lothbrok and others went a bit outside to look, but they were gone. Then a old man who was sitting at the table all along came to Lothbrok's side.
"Cyng, wasn't letting them go too easy?" He cautiously asked.
Lothbrok spared a glance at him, and a smirk curved on his lips. "Do you even know what that mark means?" He inquired.
The old man thought for some moments and nodded in affirmation,"Yes. If the favours is not return when asked then the mark bloods their boil and give a horrible death but…"
"But she is a goddess?" Lothbrok finished the sentence for him, siting back at his original place. The man politely nodded.
Lothbrok toom his time to explain, he took a sip of the drink in his metal glass, a evil smirk lingering on his face.
"I changed for her when I said Gyden. Her mana will evaporate to it's nature and do you know a goddess of life disappear?" Lothbrok raised a brow and look at the old one.
The person having no idea of what their lord was thinking, just shook his head.
"When a guardian disappears their species do too. So if somehow she disobeys both those measly Mann* fades with her." Lothbrok grinned hard thinking about it.
The old man eyes widened hearing his Cyng words. So it was all a plot. Otherwise, Cyng was not a person who let go of a goddess and human just simply like that.

Back on earth~
Valerie popped back to where they disappear. Having no experience with landing, Erbous legs turned wobbly and he ended up plopping on the ground.
Valerie didn't put much interested, and in a cold voice she declared,"It's better if you tell no one about what happened otherwise…"
She squatted down to his level," They will call you mentally retard." She continued and got up to leave.
" I know that much!" Erbous retorted, couldn't being able to take her rude behaviour.
Valerie looked back at him and scoffed," Good for you then." With this she vanish like everything was dream.

Present time~
It was almost ten o'clock when August's eyes opened. The room was still dark from the drapes covering the window.
With a slight headache he got down, recalling everything that happened yesterday. So first he jumped down the bridge, then he met the grim reaper, who was hot, that doesn't need to mention also cruel. And then he got bethrothed to her, after that he fought a child monster with power and ended up in a most dirtiest house.
The headache worsen after he remembered everything. He sighed, already tired from all this. Was this going to be life from now on? Just thinking the thought made him shudder.
No, he needs to find a way out before it's too late. August hurriedly got up from the bed put his shoes on and went to the bathroom to freshen up.
On coming out from his shower, he saw the well iron clothes on the top of his bed. Thinking it was Azrael he was suddenly grateful until he went closer to check it out.
"..." He was left speechless on seeing the design of the suit she prepared.
A gray suit with red scratch marks. If August had to make a smile of it, he can easily say it looked like rhino skin which was scratch by some animal and those were the marks.
No. He should leave this place as fast he could. This woman had worse taste in fashion over anything. He can forget her being cruel and sadist but this murder. It was blasphemy even for someone who has no taste in fashion.
August was still checking the suit, when Azrael knocked on the door. August put the suit back and turned his head towards the door.
As expected, she opened the door before he even respond and was leaning like she not care.
"Is it your size?" She asked walking in. "I don't know your size but that's the only one that matched you." She continued further.
August was horrified hearing her. Matched him? Was she sick or blind? From where does it look like her taste?
"Matched me?" He raised a brow, curious from where it matched him.
"Yeah." She rolled her eyes, and shook her head.
"Beaten up. Beaten up." She calmly pointed the suit in his hand then at August, with a half shoulder shrug.
