"Come on in. Cyng is with the minister." The guard stated, signalling the people to open the gate for them.
Valerie looked at the giant two storey house, made from wood with a balcony on the second floor.
At the left side of the house was a tower, unlike the house it was made with the same stone those steps were made with. A small window carved at top.
Valerie squinted her eyes a bit and looked at the woman sitting by the window frame. Silver eyes, and the crescent moon sign at the back of her hand.
Valerie immediately knew it was a witch. On looking up at her face again. Their gaze met. Aquamarine eyes. A witch princess.
In the world of witches, the eye colours were the class of witches. The amber eyes of a fighter. The emerald green of the protector, the one who was like a minister to the queen.
And the Queen herself had purple eyes. The witches' fate was sealed from the time they first opened their eyes.
The lady who was captivated in the tower saw the shock in Valerie's eyes. She turned her head and walked away from the window, well aware that Valerie knew.
"What are you watching? Move faster." The guard gave a slight push to Valerie seeing her busy looking at the tower of Witch princess.
Valerie glared at the man, and continued walking. Even thousands of questions brimmed in her mind. Why did Thera never tell her anything about those?
Soon they entered the house, it was cozy like an inn. With lanterns illuminating the room. The room was mostly filled with wooden furniture and at the right there was a huge dining table in the middle of the spacious room.
With both sides filled with males and at the centre a man wearing a mask and commoners cloth.
The two guys who brought them there bowed their heads in front of him."Cyng."
"We found them at the alure wald* while patrolling." The guy explained to him in Ogeti.
(Alure wald-alure forest)
"The guy is human but the lady has the essence of magic over her. It's stronger than the witches." He continued.
Valerie smirked hearing them. Of course her essence is stronger than any witches. She was a goddess. She was the caretaker of humans. Her essence has been in this world longer than she could imagine.
"Should we lock her too?" One of the men on the table looked at the person in mask and asked in a concerned tone.
Valerie sighed if she still remained silent then she would become a locked goddess and this guy human stew. She spared a quick glance at the naive guy who had no idea he was the dinner.
What a hassle she got herself into. Having no choice, Valerie sighed and opened her mouth,"Locking a goddess, are you wishing for the anger of Cytherea?" She stated in perfect Ogeti.
All the men turned their heads towards her, even Erbous. Even witches don't speak Ogeti, and her speaking shocked everyone.
While everyone looked at her, the masked man started giggling and soon a peal of cold laughter. He got up from his place and walked up to her. Pulling off his mask.
Behind that brown leather faceless mask, was a face like she expected. A ferocious eyes like the fire with a beard covering most and out of all the scar that spread from the left eyebrow to his right cheeks.
He stood in front of her. His bulky and around seven feet tall appearance made her look like a rabbit in front of him.
"So you are a gyden* huh?" He asked in a gruff voice raising an eyebrow.
(Gyden- goddess.)
Valerie gulped. Her jaw dropped seeing how tall he was. He was giving her full viking vibe to her. Did Thera created them.after seeing the Viking of Earth? Valerie can't say but the guy was more of a giant than a warlock. When did the warlock turn this?
'Valerie! Focus!' She slapped herself in mind and straightened her back. And looked back at him.
"Yes. I am goddess Thera's disciple. She send me here to check and the guy is…my disciple." Valerie lied. Hoping it was believable for them.
"Lothbrok." The person said, crossing his arm.
Valerie glanced at him perplexed by what he meant.
Seeing that he explained,"My name."
"Oh." She exclaimed, trying to force out a smile.
Lothbrok glanced at the guard who held her captive with ropes, signalling him to untie them.
The guard did as he ordered, he soon freed her and went towards Erbous to free him.
"Not him." Lothbrok ordered before Erbous could be freed.
Hearing him, Valerie shot a glare at him. Lothbrok remained calm and explained,"Since you are a gyden, we can let you go. But for your deciple, we need a favour in exchange and when time comes you have to repay."
Valerie didn't answer immediately. She clearly knew favour from a goddess was a big thing. If they ask something that defies the rule of Elysian, she can be punished.
That's the reason she was trying to save Erbous. Erbous came into that place due to her, if something happens she will get eternal damnation.
It was the rule that the creator can never change anything after the birth. If any creation fate changes because of their creator, they have to disappear with time.
However, if she doesn't agree with what Warlocks offered then he dies and she can't harm any souls living or dead. That's forbidden.
Valerie sighed realising every possible way out of that place was forbidden in Elysian. She regrets for really creating these damn humans! She glared with vengeance at Erbous and gave up.
"I agree."
