Chapter 1 - 1. The Martin Family

In the extreme northeast of the Azaroth Continent their lies a Small Kingdom Called Solan though for name it's called a kingdom but it has neither the military strength nor any political influence to be called a nation.

It's Nobility and Royalties has long forgotten about common folks residing in the kingdom, as for now its only an empty shell of a nation.

It can be called a miracle that it has been able to maintain its position in this chaotic Continent, though it could also be due to its unfavourable topography and infertile land and extreme forest that it has almost no appeal to other powerful nations surrounding it , so it has somehow managed to enjoy a peaceful period, which is aken to a house made out of straws which can blow away with a slight gust of wind.

Most people residing here are generally farmers and labourers, there are a few soldiers and Knights, who are generally recruited by a village or a town, to protect them uneventful incidents.

In this unappealing kingdom lies an Ordinary Knight Family known as the Martin. Thought In the continent of Azaroth the value of knights and magicians are immeasurable but that is for a high ranking ones, as for the Martin family head Alex Martin who is also a '6 Star Knight' which is not considered weak by any means but its not nearly enough for them to enjoy the privileges like nobles. It is considered respectful enough especially in a small nation of Solan as they where able to live a Bountiful life.

In the backyard of this family's Estate, there is a young child roughly around 10 years old swinging his sword without caring about his surroundings, as if he and sword are the only existence that matter in this world.

His hands were full of rough patches, covered through out his entire hand which doesn't suit his age ,but the young kid paid no mind to that and kept swinging his sword with no intention to stop until he heard a feminine voice coming from his house.

"Samuel Dinner's ready Come on now"

Samuel stopped swinging his sword and replied

"coming Mom" and headed straight to the dinner table.

There was no fancy meal or exquisite table arrangements like noble households it was a simple Round table enough for four people to sit, which perfectly alines with the requirements of the Martin family.

Alex Martin a 'six star Knight' as well as husband of Mary Martin and father of Samuel and Agatha Martin, thought he doesn't have much influence, but he is considered a respectful individual around the neighbourhood for his upright and righteous nature .

he is strict while parenting and raising his children but he always makes sure to give them enough freedom to walk their own path. But as a Father he couldn't help being curious about the future of his own children. While maintaining a stern look in his face he asked

"Agatha have you decided what you want to do ?" Agatha while being just 14 years old ,it is considered mature enough to decide about your future in Azaroth.

"um... I am thinking about helping Viscount lesbon with his trading business while learning a thing or two from him" While giving a nod he asked

"what about you Samuel ?" while he kinda knew what the answer was gonna be he still asked his youngest son out of mere formality.

"I want to be a Swordsman" Samuel replied unhesitatingly.

"swordsman ?? Do you not plan on joining the Knight templar" Alex asked having while a hint of surprise couldn't escape his face.

"Doesn't Matter whether it's a Knight or a wandering swordsman as long as I can practice swordsmanship " Samuel said with a unwavering face .

Alex nodded while listening to his youngest son's determined voice, thought he already knew about Samuel's absurd amount of love toward swords as he started practicing at the age of 5 which is considered incredibly early ,as normally children's would start practicing when they are around 8 or 9 years old.

thought being extremely passionate about swords his talent could be considered nothing but average, which is a fact both his father Alex and Samuel knew all along, but his son paid no mind to it as the reason he wields sword has nothing to do with being better than others it's for his own growth.

After finishing his meal Samuel picked up his sword and started practicing his swordsmanship again, till late mid night and then after waking up before the sun rises and repeating this entire training process again.

He would frequently request his father for a constant spar, to practice his swordsmanship.

While looking at his son's passionate gaze, Alex Martin would somewhat find time, as much as he could to teach his own son.

That's been the Case for 5 years now, as time passed by for the peaceful and serine Martin family.
