Upon hearing the unexpected voice, the Tin Man halted in his tracks, causing Liu Tao and his teammate to feel a sudden shift in their hearts.
"Is it a [Player]? Has reinforcements finally arrived?" his teammate whispered.
"No, they're not one of ours." Liu Tao turned his gaze towards the corner, and through his night-vision goggles, he spotted a figure emerging from the shadows.
From the silhouette, it appeared to be a woman, dressed in a black outfit with a matching cloak. Even through the night-vision goggles, her countenance was not discernable.
"Perhaps it's a solo [Player] who remained on the north shore... or…" Liu Tao thought of the female student he was carrying. Had he unknowingly carried a [Player] a long way? Otherwise, it was too much of a coincidence that she would appear here.
Before he could voice his thoughts, the voice from the corner called out once more, "You two should go. Next, it's time for a change of opponent."
