The bobcat smells Jasmine's scent and comes out of her den slowly. From their hiding place, Onacona notices that her eyes are golden and she is larger than most bobcats. As she emerges from the den fully the bobcat stretches out and two extra legs begin to grow from her body. This is not a bobcat at all this creature is a wampas cat.
"I thought they were just myths. That they were not real." Onacona whispers under his breath.
Seo Jun looks at the strange creature as it rolls its head against the slipper. So far it has not noticed them.
"What is that thing?" Seo Jun asks.
"It is a wampas cat. There are different legends about it . Each tribe of native people have their own version. Most versions say that it likes to eat children. "Onacona tells Seo Jun .
"How do we get rid of it?" Seo Jun asks.
