2 days had passed, and I was in bed the whole time. I was not in the condition to walk or do any daily activities. But too much to my entertainment, Adal was always with me. He is a very talkative guy I had to say. I was forced to think how a boy could talk that much. His talking battery never runs out. In reality, I didn't understand much but that did not matter for Adal. He continues to talk to me trying to be understandable with sometimes hand gestures or body movements. Today he atlast made me talk in their language a single sentence. It was "good morning". After this, he just ran away like a grasshopper telling everybody that now I could talk like them now. It was naive but very heart-warming.
From Adal, I got the information about their family already. It was nothing much but their names. According to him, There are five members, The muscular burly man seemingly who rescued me was His father. Victor. There was also his wife Litha whom I had met a few times in these two days. She was a caring woman. There was also Victor's daughter, I think her name was Lilia, and Victor's brother Rekan.
From the looks of it, I would be able to make a simple conversation if I practice with Adal. He was very serious about teaching me their language. Then I had to make a serious conversation with Victor.

It's been two weeks and I hadn't placed my foot outside of this house. There were mainly two reasons for it. firstly for my injuries and secondly there was a storm going on outside. What I know till now was that it was an indication that winter is coming and there will be a festival today in the village square today to celebrate the last day of summer and to pray for a short lengthen winter season from the Allmother Mera. According to what I heard from Adal, today the people here would be preparing for winter's necessary rations, wine, and meat. The whole village's men would be gone for hunting and woman and children would be doing the other necessary job like storing rations, creating spices to store meat, and preparing for the evening festival.
After listening about hunting I got excited. And with my poor Latra language skill and some hand gesture, I started demanding to Victor to take me to hunt with them. I had already gained some familiarity with them now. But seeing me, A adult crying for an absurd thing that he had never done before and with not completely healed body with puppy eyes, Victor sighed and gave me a good scolding about behaving like a proper man. Half of the words he said I didn't understand. But in his angry words, I could feel his care for me. Without realizing a smile had formed on my face. I was happy. These wonderful people, I didn't know when but a wish had already started to form in my heart that I didn't wanna go home. Although I wanted to go hunting but that could wait.
Seeing me lost in thought and smiling like a weirdo Victor smacked on my head and told me, "Kiddo are you listening to me, I know you could understand this much. If you wanna go hunting fix your body first then we can talk. Now if you wanna help, Go help Litha. An extra pair of hands will make her work easier."

After helping for a day I had already started missing my home. Cooking without a electrical or gas oven, working in a hot place without no air conditioning and every small thing had to be done by hand. Where is this backwater village?
Had I traveled back in time? It was not the first time this question had come to my mind. Although it is impossible at a first glance, for me being here is also impossible. For the past two weeks, I tried to search for an explanation in mind but found nothing. But I was sure this was not the present era. And till now I didn't know where I was or how to return.

A big bonfire had been made up by village people. In the winter the scarcity of wood would increase, So after today, everyone had to maintain the expenditure on wood and coal.
I sat down on one side of the fireplace. Victor and Litha didn't come yet so the main event hadn't started. Some villagers knew about me already thanks to Adal. when they see me for the first time. They asked me about myself and where I am from. Some villagers were also giving me some suspicious looks. I couldn't blame them. Everyone is not as kind-hearted as Victor. The villagers also knew that and they were just worried about Victor. So I gave them the answer I had prepared. It was the same answer I gave Victor after learning the Language a little.
"I actually couldn't remember about myself other than my name. I think After the accident I lost my memory. Victor said that after the winter ends he would go with me to a nearby town to search for my family or any clues about my Identity".
It was dangerous to tell them about where I came from because either they thought me a madman or link me to some creepy devil worshipper. In this era, this type of Incident was not rare where a man or woman had been burned on suspicion of using black magic. But the last part was not wrong. Victor had said this to me a few days ago. He normally would go after I fully healed but in the winter roads would be blocked by ice and dangerous beast would roam everywhere. So I have to stay here for at least 5 months.
Picking a glass of beer, I looked at the sky. It was clear today after many days of storms. The sun has already set on the horizon and darkness slowly enveloped. In the western sky, the silhouette of the moon can be seen. And then my eyes remain fixed upon that. The glass that was in my hand had fallen to the ground. But it was like the world had frozen for me after this revelation. Because I became aware of where I was. I was in the world of the game I played for three years. The game "THE DRACONIC WAR".
