Chapter 8 - Chapter 7: Abomination in the court of law.

Ruen Monroe did not like school. It was merely another pleasantry he thought someone of his worth should be entitled to but simply putting he would never waste time engaging in matters concerning school.

Ruen looked out the window of the car he'd rented in the PlainsLand. He'd long driven out of the PlainsLand and into Normad pit. A junction filled with killers, cut throat, r*pists, and everything bad in combination.

"My Lord, the Magistrate won't accept your presence." A deep voice echoed through Ruen's thoughts.

This man was Finley Thatcher, a former thief who was now a loyal servant of Ruen. The man was also the messenger who had delivered the letter sent from the Heavenly Magistrate to Ruen.

Ruen allowed a conniving smile on his face as he gazed down at the letter in his hand.

"Dear Monroe,

As the owner of the Abomination inheritance, and the only descendant of the Abomination bloodline the Magistrate has decided to listen to the appeals from the all-seeing-eyes Whispers to argue the ownership of the Abomination inheritance.

Be sure to appear in court at 3pm October, this is the will of the Magistrate.

Yours Sincerely, Apostle Victor.

♥"

It was not the first time other divine beings had used the court to absolve the inheritance that belonged to another bloodline. Ruen was a unique case though there were no deities, entities, or existence that were alive in his bloodline, his singular self was all that remained of the Abomination bloodline and so only he had the Inheritance. Of course there were very few who knew of the Abomination bloodline and its inheritance, all-seeing-eyes Whispers being one of them.

Ruen was no existence, nor entity, or even a deity so it was only fair that other divine beings tried to absolve the power of his inheritance to become stronger. Ruen after all was just a preternatural child.

"The Magistrate doesn't see you in a kind light." Finley added.

Ruen snorted softly, and stared deeply at the letter. No divine being that knew of him saw him a kind light, the Magistrate being no different. The Magistrate was of a strange and powerful bloodline called "Executioner". The name of the Deity of the Executioner bloodline was Grim reaper- the guide and quasi-ruler of the death realm, after the Deity known as the Grim reaper was The Entity called Jury whose duty was to vote in favor or against a victim, the Jury was also the Apostle of any Magistrate.

The Magistrate is the highest authority of the Executioner bloodline and has the power to cast judgment against anyone whether deity, entity of existence. Their authority was definitive and mysterious but like every other divine being they had disadvantages, theirs being that every Judgement was fair and unbiased, they must observe the victim and the case for a fair amount of time before passing judgment.

A Magistrate must live and breathe in the Heavenly court of law and watch the life and death of every being in the universe, whether Upper Plane, or Earth Plane, or Lower Plane. The Magistrate existed as an arm of the three tiers of authority amongst divine beings and the Magistrate is the second most powerful.

Although the Magistrate was fair and viewed everyone and everything from an objective perspective, just like everything and everyone else the Magistrate showed disgust for Ruen an Abomination and an error against everything that existed in the world.

"Then who does?" Ruen replied to his loyal servant before a circular rip tore in reality and the car suddenly drove into a brand new world.

Ruen threw his head outside to see a blissful garden near the arena building that was the Heavenly court of law. The car gracefully parked and Ruen helped himself down.

"Stay here." He instructed his servant before climbing that many stairs that led to the Arena building and pushing open the gigantic hall doors of the building open.

"The Magistrate proclaims that the deity Cell is found guilty of various crimes resulting in the deaths of four thousand godless mortals and is hereby-" the Magistrate paused, sharply looking in a different direction. "Abomination." She spat looking onto the brown skinned figure.

Ruen eased into the building with the grace of a cat who had earned nine lives. As Ruen was only a Preternatural child the Magistrate who was an existence appeared before his eyes as merely a standing ball of bright light rather than a figure with flesh and bones.

The ability to see anything at all was due to the uniqueness of Ruen himself, an "Abomination" who defied the laws of the universe. Any other Preternatural child would stand the chance of running mad upon seeing an Existence by far past their power level.

Ruen graced the Magistrate with a pretentious light bow before saying, "I salute the almighty Magistrate."

"Are you the Abomination Monroe?" The Magistrate said. The being was like a registration book who had the census of everyone in the universe, with their names and every detail but of course with Ruen things were shady.

"At your service," he replied.

"And you dare to barge into the Heavenly court?" The Apostle sneered.

Ruen threw the letter he'd put back in its envelope on the ground. "You dare to send me this shit letter?"

The Shadow humanoids gasped before hurriedly continuing their scribbling.

"Monroe!" The Magistrate's eyes sparked lightning.

"Magistrate- a divine creature who assumes a state of fairness and justice," Ruen recited the description of a Magistrate. "Bullshit." He added.

"You shall receive a death penalty for this." The Magistrate vibrated.

A mischievous glint rose in Ruen's eyes. "As if you could kill me, your honor." He countered with a condescending tone.

He then raised his fingers up. "This is mine," the black ring's ruby glinted. "The Abomination inheritance belongs to an Abomination, the bloodline belongs to an error to the universe and no one will take it from me. Not even the court."

The Abomination inheritance wasn't the most powerful tool in the entire world but it sure was powerful. "And if you think I'll allow a bitch a heels to take it away from me then fuck yourself so hard up your stuck up ass."

"Monroe! You're courting death. Nothing in this world is unkillable," The Magistrate fumed.

Ruen smiled and spread his arms. "Then kill away."

Walking away from the Court there wasn't a single word of reply. Truly it was courting death what he'd done but he didn't fear anything after all.

"My lord where to now?" The servant asked, feeling goosebumps from what his Master had done.

"Alcohol. Lots of it."

"I know a place." The servant responded.
