Chapter 6 - Chapter 5: Protagonist perks.

The PlainsLand was yet another village created near a Rogue house. After the Cataclysm, the world outside Rogue houses were dangerous for beasts, supernaturals, humans, and perhaps even some deities, they were things, powerful things that had descended when the twelfth seal that guarded the world against raw divinity broke now roamed free in the world.

Even an existence as powerful as the all-seeing-eyes Whispers could not descend down in the world without breaking the 1st seal. The higher the number of the seal the stronger divinity that could descend from the Upper Plane. So you see, the world in 2022 was not as it was in the year 1942.

The PlainsLand was not a Rogue house but it was under the protection of the all-seeing-eyes Whispers as it was a Village attached outside of Rogue house 002. Because the people were what was insinuated as Corrupted they could not be allowed into the Rogue house. Corrupted beings were yet another one of those dangerous things that lurked outside of the Rogue house.

They were humans that had the mental imprint of a powerful Entity known as The Devil. The Entity had supremacy of a realm that existed underneath earth- Dark Summit. These humans were rescued by the all-seeing-eyes Whispers from being dead brain walking footmen for The Devil, they still had the mental imprint of The Devil but the suppression power of the all-seeing-eyes Whispers was more powerful than The Devil's. After all an Existence was beyond powerful against a mere Entity.

Against other humans these Corrupted stood the chance of rubbing off their mental imprint on them but against Preternatural children it was impossible since their will was much stronger than humans. It would take The Devil casting down a silver of his mental imprint himself to corrupt Preternatural children.

"And kids remember we're here to learn life outside of the Rogue house," a lecturer said as the students watched in awe the environment of the PlainsLand inside their custom made Hover-Train.

The PlainsLand was not like the Rogue house, although it had all the luxury that villages that were not attached to Rogue houses but existed inside the wilderness which had become the world outside Rogue houses, the PlainsLand was still not a Rogue house. They did not have things like MAX AI, Hover-trains, Shuttle transport.

They used cars that ran on batteries instead of the latest MAX AI energy. They purchased things from the supermarket instead of having a bionic helper do so. Their life was a whole inconvenience.

The hover-train dropped the students at the hotel rented for their school trip.

"Can you smell how natural their air is?" A black haired shortie asked, drawing in the scent of a world outside Rogue house.

The blonde next to her merely wrinkled her nose and fanned her face with her hands. "Ew no! All I smell is hotness. Why is it so hot here?" She blanched, blowing air out of her mouth.

Suddenly a male hand landed on the shoulder of the brunette, and pulled her short frame against his chest. "Oh there's my little Poppy! I didn't see you in the Shuttle transport. How's my cuteness goddess doing." The male twirled Poppy so her face was facing him.

This young man was Solomon Daosist who was the youngest person with the most authority in Rogue house 002. Solomon Daosist was a direct descendant of the Entity called Daoist the divine embodiment of all Martial related forms in this world. Daoist controlled those who practiced ancient Martial arts and his powers stemmed from there. The Entity Daoist is the son of the Legendary Existence known as Qi, yes Qi was the divine embodiment of Qi energy that existed within all Martial practitioners.

Daoist also had a son, his son was the deity Martial Madman who had an affair within one of his mortal acolytes and birthed Fredrick Daosist who fathered Solomon Daosist. The Entity Daoist was another divine being that had sworn loyalty to the all-seeing-eyes Whispers and he was also the right-hand of the all-seeing-eyes Whispers.

Solomon was one of the most powerful Preternatural child that has ever existed, everyone knows his father Frederick was training him to to become a divine being and to do so he would have to defeat and swallow his grandfather Martial Madman the deity who was opposed to his father swearing allegiance to the all-seeing-eyes Whispers. Solomon was national treasure to Rogue house 002 because it was said even the all-seeing-eyes Whispers contributed to his growth into divinity so he can get rid of Martial Madman and become the new deity with the "title" Martial Madman.

Solomon wasn't just a powerful well connected Preternatural he was also drop dead handsome. This quasi (quarter) divine being had an unnatural red hair that looked like black which had been drowned in the blood of his enemies. He had a squared jaw and his unnatural red hair dropped on its tip. His skin was very white but not like the pasty white of Poppy but a pale-white like a spotless porcelain doll. His eyebrows were the same color as his hair and had two thin shaved lines on the left eyebrow. His lashes were thick and whenever they blinked it looked as if a huge shadow had risen from his fair orange eyes.

Solomon's entire frame was built beautifully with his muscles fit for a young man his age and the ancestral markings of his divine bloodline plastered on his body like a deadly tattoo. Solomon, this young man was the epitome of all the girl's wishes.

"Ah, Sol! Where have you been! I looked for you all over school before the school trip!" Poppy pouted and a wicked smile appeared on Solomon's face.

The man only had such a smile when he was around this cute girl and everyone knew it. Solomon leaned down and placed a chaste kiss on the cheek of Poppy's face to which Poppy responded by quickly cleaning with her hand.

"I told you not to do that! You're giving people the wrong idea!" She slapped his broad chest with her tiny hand then pointed at the side. "Look! Your fangirls are giving me death glares." She whined, pointing at the group of girls truly glaring at her.

Solomon's eyes swiftly cast at the group. A menacing shadow seemed to have grown in his orange eyeballs that threatened the group without ends. They quickly scampered away.

Before Poppy turned back to him, the sweet look he'd always put on around her suddenly appeared again along with his smile. "How can I stop? When I'm looking at the cutest thing alive?" He pinched her cheeks for good measure but she hastily slapped the hand away.

She squinted, imitating the glare her best friend Margaret had taught her. "Don't you have a girlfriend Sol?"

His look darkened for a brief second before assuming a soft one. "What girlfriend Poppy? Who told you I had a girlfriend? That b*tch Tessa is nothing but a leaching wh*re," he sneered, then received a slap from Poppy on his arm.

"Stop with the cusses! And no derojor- degora- derogag! Whatever!"

Margaret patted her head. "Aw it's derogatory terms sweetheart."

She looked up at Margaret. "Stop that." Her heart pricked a bit at the childish treatment.

Both her small hands were taken into Solomon's big ones. "Poppy I have a party at FOX club planned and I want you to come-"

"No," she shot him down, taking her hands from his.

"Come on Poppy, I'll even make you special guest of honor-"

"No,"

"Poppy, this party is going to be the highlight of our trip. I thought you were looking for excitement?" Margaret piped.

The word excitement triggered a memory. What was exciting to her was the combined scent of vanilla cake and strawberry fruit.

"Maggi," Poppy whined.

"Pleaseee Poppy," Solomon added. "You're the only one I say please to."

Coincidentally a group of students were watching the scene. One of them quipped acidly, "look at Sol begging the maltina can like a desperado."

"What does he see in that short mortar?"

"I guess her cuteness is a plus but that fat dropping body, and that ugly skin… it's just ew…" the silhouette cringed.

Unable to stop herself from falling for the begging, she said, "fine."

Solomon smiled broadly. "You won't regret this my cuteness goddess!" He then sneaked a peck in before dashing away.

"Sol!" Poppy yelled after being pecked.

Solomon about passing by a young group suddenly stopped. "Ladies and gentlemen I couldn't help but eavesdrop on you talking about a maltina can?" His face darkened, a tyrannical expression clouding it, and his teeth gnashing.

The group swallowed.
