Eva kissed the top of Arya's head as she reluctantly passed her to Lucas beside her. This was the hardest part of leaving. To leave her child willingly was more torture than anything she had ever experienced. She turned away from her husband and child to hide the tears already falling down her cheek.
The servants had gathered around them at the front entrance of the manor. They were all wearing leather armor and equipment to travel. Each with a sword at their waist and some kind of secondary weapons strapped to their backs. Lee had a spear, Leyla a bow and arrows, Lucas seemed to have many hidden weapons, and of course Eva had her hidden knives and a bow strapped to her back as well.
