Lucas was breathing heavily now. He had felled some fifty odd men and there were still a handful left. Cuts and bruises littered his body and the entire hallway was drenched in blood.
Red's lithe body was also covered in blood. He had long stopped attacking the men and lay on the stairs overlooking the battle below. His eyes gleamed red and no one dared approach him.
Lucas rolled his eyes at the leopard and wished he would help out more. Though he was blocking their escape route so he supposed the leopard was at least assisting in this regard.
The men surrounding Lucas held up their heavily damaged weapons and again felt how outclassed they were against this elf. At first they had thought they could overpower the elf.
They had at least fifty of their men stationed at this base. It was the majority of the mercenary company. Yet, the elf almost single handedly took out all of their best men.
