Eva was jerked from her spot against the cool stone suddenly. She realized she had collapsed against the wall and somehow fell asleep. The second man from before was pulling at the chains on her wrists.
"Would you get up already? I know Pete slammed you against the wall but you need to hurry along. We don't have time to be messing around."
Eva had no memory of moving about the base as she had always been carried while unconscious. Being able to see the hallway directly outside her room did not do her much good though.
The walls were lined with natural stone as if someone carved it out. From what she could see, several rooms had been carved into the sides of the tunnel and most of them were lined with doors that were shut.
A few men were running about with hands full of weapons. They all ran towards a set of stairs leading up at the end of the hall. The man that was pulling her chains moved towards the opposite end of the hall.
