Lyra looked at Eva in confusion as she put her hand up to halt her rush to draft a request to exterminate the undead in the deep woods. She had spent several months working with Eva through the program with the Adventurer's School, so she calmed down her excitement and retook her seat across from her.
As she waited for Eva to continue, she noticed that a strange, uncertain expression had spread across her face. She watched as she took an unsteady breath and seemed to nod. A grin slowly spread across Lyra's face as she cheered the young adventurer on in her heart.
"I would like to be included in the party that takes on the request for the undead." Eva felt her fingernails bite into her palms as she made the ridiculous proposal to Lyra.
Lyra was taken aback for a brief moment. "You do know how dangerous this kind of mission is, yes?"
