On a rainy night.
Loid looks through a snack aisle, for something to eat. He eyeballs a beef stick and smiles softly.
Loid walks outside in the rain, opening his snack. Before he could take a bite, a soft meow catches his attention. He turns to see a small kitten drenched in rain. The small kitten looks at Loid's beef snack with hungry eyes.
Loid sighs and gives the kitten his snack. Loid walks off before stopping. Before turning around, Loid looks up and sighs louder than the last.
Two years later.
Loid walks into his apartment. Waiting for him is the furry friend he made that rainy night.
