Looking up to the one whose arms she had fell into, her soul left her body and returned a second later.
She unconsciously pushed him and fell in fright. "How.....?" She could only let out a word from her mouth as she was to stunned to speak.
"Were you expecting me dead?" he questioned pretending to be pained about it but he clicked his tongue and stretched his hand to assist her up. "I promised I will come back and here I am."
"Ra...Ramin." She called almost inaudibly, as tears dropped down her eyes. He was alive and that was what mattered that time. She took his hand and stood up.
He knitted his brows and examined her from head to toe. "Hope you weren't hurt? Sorry I couldn't stop them from coming after you," he apologized, not daring to look at her but she shook her head and heaved a sigh of relief.
