Amby knocked on a closed door and a gentle voice told her to go in. She opened the door and went into the room.
Seeing her, Edwin smiled and sat up on the bed. "Hope I came at the right time?" she questioned to which he nodded and tapped on the space beside him.
"There is no wrong time for you."
She sat down and rested her head on his shoulder.
"How are your friends?" He questioned, asking about Ramin and Luther who were both receiving treatments.
Even though he really doesn't care about them, Amby does. It was his duty to put her mind at rest and show that he cares for her and whoever she cares for.
"Luther is still recovering and Ramin is okay now, although, there is something going on with him but he wouldn't talk."
He nodded and wrapped his arm around her shoulder. "What are you worried about? You seem lost?"
