Chapter 76 - Something interesting.

"..." Silence, the entire surroundings became deathly silent as the ten remaining knights looked at the fallen body of their leader. "W- why you, do you realize what you have done?" A knight standing at the back asked, as he looked at the knight's body with a shocked expression on his face.

"Hm, what I have done, isn't it obvious... I simply dispose of garbage." Camilia replied as though it was obvious. However, seeing how nonchalant she was being had only angered them even more. "Tch, kill her! Be aware of her speed, attack from the rear!" The knight that was next in the position to lead ordered.

Soon, all ten of the remaining knights surrounded Camilia enclosing her in a circle formation leaving no room for escape but, "Hahahaha!" The knights all wore strange expressions as they saw Camilia laughing heartily despite her current situation.

"Th-this woman is she crazy?" A young knight holding a short sword asked, "Who knows she is brave enough to go against an entire country, so crazy is probably the best word that describes her." An older knight responded.

He was starting to feel anxious, even while being surrounded the woman before him didn't seem worried or scared, 'Just who is this woman?' He couldn't help but thought. "I must say that little brat is definitely competent when it comes to training his knight squad, I can see each and every one of you here are well trained. However, as a king he is very incompetent... I remember the former king before he died, that old man was a wise king. He knew better not to provoke the wrong people even though he enjoyed wars and battle." Camilia said, in an eloquent tone.

A smile appeared on her face as she thought back to her meeting with the previous king. Honestly, she was quite fond of the old man, as a woman who also enjoyed wars and fighting strong opponent they got along well.

However, despite enjoying battles the old king knew the people he must never provoke, and Camilia was one of them. If he had openly sought wars against her the kingdom of Paullus would have definitely disappear long ago, there was an unspoken rule with all of the great nations. "Never provoke that demon of a woman!"

And so, seeing these knight openly choosing to oppose her, Camilia couldn't help but chuckle. "... I guess intelligence isn't guaranteed to be passed down to the next generations." She muttered to herself. "Tch, shut up!" The knight roared, hearing his king being insulted. He swung his sword diagonally towards her neck, intending to decapitate her!

However, Camilia casually caught the sword of the knight with her dominant hand, with a board face. "Guh." The knight tried exserting more strength into his sword but no matter how much he tried the blade of the sword didn't move an inch from her grasp.

Camilia had learnt the demon strengthening physique long ago, despite being a mortal, the physique gave her the physical strength of a demigod.

Realizing their leader was struggling the rest of the remaining knights all closed in at once swinging their swords. Sensing a sword coming from behind, Camilia promptly moved her free hand as a red beam of thin light shot outwards towards the knight aiming to stab her back, "Argh!" The red beam of light instantly pierces the heart of the knight.

While at the same time another knight closed in from her side, but Camilia grabbed the face of the leader who had tried to decapitate her moments ago. "Mmrgh!" With his face being grabbed he tried using his arms and legs to free himself but, against her physical strength it was impossible! Camilia used him as a human shield against the incoming blade of the knight on her right side. "Gah!" The sword of his subordinate pierce his chest as Camilia held his body in place.

"V-Vice captain!" Realizing what he had done the knight on the side began to panic. He quickly pulled out his sword from his commander's chest, "Ngh." The leader of the knight still in Camilia's grasp winced with pain from the blade being removed from his chest. "Mm, I think I'm done with this." She said as she held him by the neck, and with a small squeeze of her hand the sound of his bones breaking echoed.

Two more knights were closing in on her from behind, but Camilia just casually threw the body of the knight leader towards them without so much as a glance. "Tch." "Huh?" The two knights that were closing in on her had their vision obstructed as the body of their leader came flying towards them at a ridiculous speed.

Meanwhile, the knight at the side tried stabbing at her with his sword only to have a hole open up in the center of his forehead by a thin red beam of light. Camilia was not enthusiastic about dealing with weaklings, 'At this point aren't I being a bully?' She wondered. "... Sigh, I should go pay that man a visit." Camilia said, snapping her fingers. A magic formation appeared around her.

As a torrent of hot flames surrounded her completely engulfing everything in a 20 meters radius, all the remaining knights were turned to cinders. Camilia ignored the stunned gazes of the citizens watching her from afar and flew into the direction of the royal palace.

...

Meanwhile, the king of Paullus, Germund stood at the balcony of the royal palace with Quinn standing next to him, her expression was as if she was witnessing something impossible.

Though, her reaction was natural. What reflected in their eyes was a massive ball of flames that completely surrounded the entire city, if that ball of flame were to fall Germund honestly didn't even want to imagine such a scenario.

"Th-this is crazy! Who could have enough magic power to create such a thing?" Quinn asked, she really wanted to doubt her eyes. She simply couldn't believe it was possible to make something like that! It was worth noting she was a powerful mid-tier mage only a step away from reaching advanced level. However, at her current ability she was certain she couldn't do something like that.

"Tch, that mad woman!" Germund roared, in rage. He knew she was strong, but he didn't think she would go so far as to attack the kingdom of a nation. 'I may have miscalculated somehow; I knew how arrogant she is after hearing about her stories from the past but still... to think she would go so far.' He was really regretting his past choices now.

"Ara, young prince, why do you already look so desperate now? I haven't even gotten started yet." A soft voice sounded from the sky catching the attention from both Germund and Quinn.

"Y-You!" Quinn screamed. Before her eyes was a beautiful bluish silver-haired woman. Even though she hadn't let her guard down she had failed to notice her presence.

However, Quinn's eyes were subconsciously drawn to Camilia's ample breasts which jiggled occasionally and couldn't help but look at her own. "..." There was a huge difference. She then looked at Camilia as though she was looking at her greatest enemy!

Meanwhile, Germund had an expression as though he had eaten something bitter.

However, he knew if he doesn't say something now it's not going to be good for him. "... I-" However, before he could finish what he wanted to say thousands of magic formations appeared in the vacant sky, as thousands of wind blades surrounded both Germund and Quinn.

"Little prince, we have a lot to talk about you know. I enjoy keeping my house clean... so can you explain why you sent those pieces of trash at my front door?" Camilia asked with a big smile spread across her face. "...."

"Eh? Y-You don't know. Didn't you hear what they had to say?" Germund asked, dumbfoundedly.

'She was attacking without even knowing what our intentions are?' Germund couldn't help but be dumbstruck when seeing how illogical this woman was. "... What they had to say. Mm, now that you mention it, I didn't listen to them, the moment one of your knights looked at me with eyes filled with lust I no longer cared, I don't like scums looking at me that way." Camilia explained. Shrugging her shoulders.

"This woman..." Quinn couldn't help but question the mentality of the woman before her. "Why don't you explain yourself, then. Your answer will decide the fate of your kingdom." Camilia said. as she sat down and cross her slender legs mid-air. Watching those thick expose thighs and along with her massive breast that jiggled occasionally Germund couldn't help but gulp.

However, he suddenly felt a chill run down his spine, as the icy cold gaze of Quinn met his eyes. "L-Let me explain." Germund cough and cleared his dried throat. "I'm thinking of declaring war on the kingdom of Barat in the near future, along with the kingdom of Alilia." He explained. "Mm, the kingdom of Barat and Alilia, you say, come to think of it those nations have been getting closer in the recent years, hasn't they." Camilia placed her hand beneath her chin and hummed to herself.

"Indeed, I also believe those two nations in particular has something to do with my father's death." He explained in an detach tone. "Oh, what makes you say that?" Camilia inquired, curiously. "Those two nations were the ones constantly at odds with the kingdom of Paullus, weren't they, if the king from the opposing side were to be killed wouldn't it mostly benefits them in the end?" Germund said, explaining his reasoning in a logical way.

"Hmm, you do have a point, the quantity of wars was mostly focus on these three kingdoms, the other nations only got involved when their territory was at risk of being in danger from the crossfire. Which in turn dragged them into the mix." Camilia said.

"If the king from the opposing side were to be eliminated then, not only would they have all the resources but, they could also have the time to develop their own respective country," Germund continued.

"And as we see now, those two only keep getting closer and closer as time passed. So, I decided to focus on strengthening our own country."

".... I see. I have notice you have been rather quiet recently."

"However, now... I want to ask what it is the young prince want from me." Camilia asked, though she already had a guess on what he wanted.

Germund observed Camilia's expression for some time before he lowered his head and ask.

"Will you work for this country, and help strengthen our military prowess?" He asked, with his head lowered. As king it was unthinkable for him to lower his head. However, towards this woman he had no other choice.

"Heh~, what makes you think I would ever work for this kingdom? Or any kingdom for that matter?" Camilia questioned. Her eyes narrowed. "... You had a good friendship with my father, didn't you? Wouldn't you want revenge if a friend of your died?" He raised his head and ask.

"Revenge?" Camilia looked at him with a hint of mockery in her eyes. "... We had no friendship, I had to admit I found him interesting, but that's all." Camilia huff through her nose at that. "Please!" The other side is getting stronger, in order to tilt the scale into our favor I need your help!" Germund was begging at this point. Seeing that Camilia couldn't help but secretly sneer. 'Weak!' She thought, she really couldn't help but be disgusted with those who shows weakness.

"Sigh, you are wasting your time. Like I said to all the other kings who tried inviting me in the past, I'm not interested." Camilia's voice was cold. "I'll let you off since you are that man's son... but there won't be a next time." She said, snapping her fingers. All the thousands of magic formations in the sky instantly disappeared.

The massive ball of flame also disappeared, once again revealing the clear blue endless skies. "I'll be off now." Camilia spoke, her figure was enveloping in a bright red light and disappeared into the distance.

"Tch, so it was hopeless after all, I'll have to use that thing." He muttered bitterly.

....

Meanwhile, in the sky Camilia could be seen flying with her bluish silver hair swaying behind her back when she notices a flying beast approaching her in the distance.

"Oh, so she decided to contact me on her own huh, I guess something interesting must have happened." Camilia muttered.
