Chapter 63 - I found you!

'A mask capable of using illusions to hide the face of any who wears it. Something like this would be very valuable in my current situation.' Kenta thought secretly. An enchanted mask wasn't something one could easily get their hands on.

Talented people capable of creating such powerful artifacts are hard to find and also, these masks could even be abused if fallen into the wrong hands. Kenta frowns as he thought of many possible usages and advantages this mask could give him.

His goal was to eliminate the prince of the kingdom of Barat, doing so will definitely make him the most wanted man in the kingdom, if he somehow finds a way to leave the kingdom and live in some other powerful nation then he would have nothing to worry about but, 'Leaving won't be easy, if they locked down all possible escape routes then it would probably be impossible.'

However, with the masks of illusion he could execute his plans without any issues, all he needs to do is simply hide his face and that problem would be solved. But even though Kenta's rational mind was telling him this was something he needed with certainty he couldn't bring himself to steel from an old man.

At the end of the day, maybe he felt nothing towards killing those he deemed as his enemies he still didn't like the idea of stealing from someone who hadn't done anything to him. '... But even then.' A look of regret shone in his blue colored eyes as he gazed at the mask in his hand. 'What should I do?' He wondered to himself.

Even if one were to appear in the market the price would definitely be more than what an average person could afford. However, for Kenta money wasn't an issue. The problem was that the vendor didn't seem interested in selling the mask.

Sure... Kenta could easily steel the mask if he wanted. If he had used his lightning to increase his speed, then steeling something like this wasn't difficult for him but... aside from being wrong from a moral point of view, there was something else that was bothering him.

'I already made too many enemies in this city, that famous businessman will definitely cause trouble for me later. No need to go out of my way to create more unnecessary trouble.' Kenta thought as he returned the mask back to the old man, instead he bought one of the masks that partially exposed the bottom half of his face, the demon mask and clown mask stood out too much and was way too flashy for his taste.

With the mask now in his possession Kenta's figure turned into a blur and he disappeared from that place completely, leaving behind a strong breeze from the sudden acceleration of his movement. Meanwhile, as he left Kenta was completely unaware of the existence of a giant eagle like bird circling the skies above his former position.

The red eyes of the eagle gazed downwards onto the stall where the mask of illusion laid as a peculiar glint shone in those fierce eyes.

Standing on top of a building two figures could be seen, one was a beautiful woman with long brown color haired blowing in the wind, her cloak fluttering behind her back as her bright blue eyes carried a strange glint within them.

Meanwhile, standing next to her was a handsome man dressed in an expensive looking suit with bright golden hair. "Hm, that boy could have easily stolen that mask and yet... he chose to leave it behind. How interesting." The man with golden hair, Leroux also known as the 'Crimson sword' muttered.

"That mask seem to be enchanted with illusion magic, since he had killed the son of a very influential man before the eyes of the public, he must want to use that mask to hide his face." Jessica explained. Though, she couldn't understand why he left the mask behind when he could have easily stolen it with his speed.

'Maybe he isn't as cold as I thought, he had mercilessly killed that swordsman who had given up when he realized he was no match for him so, I thought he was a brut who didn't care about morality or decency.' She thought, for some reason she couldn't stop her red lips from curving upwards into a faint smile.

"So, what now? That boy just went into a southerly direction, most likely going to wherever he is lounging. Shall we go after him?" Leroux asked. "Mhm, we'll also bring a gift along with us." Jessica replied.

As a giant eagle came flying towards her while carrying a mask.

...

Meanwhile, back inside the Inn, Kenta laid down on his bed while observing the mask in his hand. He couldn't help but feel worried about the future as his eyes wondered around. 'Even now I can feel my soul getting stronger, even my control over lightning is increasing rapidly as time passed. If this continues then I probably won't have to fear or worry anymore, my wish can finally be granted.' Kenta thought.

Though, he wasn't being overconfident nor was he being arrogant.

He knew most of the battles he had participated in wasn't worth mentioning when compared with the ones who are known as the strongest! When compared with those who had training their entire life, or those who were well experienced in combat he wasn't anything special.

Someone like him who had only just started to take the first step onto the path of war and battle was nothing but an ant before the well veterans...

Even someone as powerful as the god of death who had complete control over the concept of 'Death' Died which proved he wasn't as Invincible as everyone thought. When thinking about the god of death, Hendrix. For some reasons currently unknown Kenta felt various emotions. Grief, longing and hatred!

The stronger ones among those were his hatred! Though, Kenta's face become confused and puzzled as he didn't know why he felt that way in the first place or to whom should he directed such emotions towards.

[Master?] Agni called out feeling the agitated state of its owner.

"Oh, sorry did I wake you?" Kenta asked, as a smile appeared on his face. [Ngh, master's emotions had been very perturbed lately. Even your soul is getting restless.] Agni replied, in a worried voice.

"Mm, my soul, you say." Kenta's voice become somewhat bitter as he heard this.

He didn't know his emotions could affect his soul. As though guessing what Kenta was thinking Agni spoke up.

[No need to worry, your soul isn't in any danger at the moment but, you should be careful... a soul as powerful as yours could easily collapse if the vessel isn't able to holdout.] Agni warns in a strong tone.

"In other words, if my soul keeps getting stronger while my physical body isn't able to keep up with its rapid growth my body won't be able to withstand my soul?" Kenta asked, a frown appeared on his face. [Yes, you have to increase the strength of your physique.] Agni explained.

Increased the strength of his physique? How is he supposed to achieve such a thing? 'I knew training out in the mountain wouldn't be able to help me improve my physical body much but, there is no way I can keep up with the rate my soul was growing.' Kenta furrowed his brow in contemplation.

"Agni, can you tell me how I can improve my physique? There must be some form of training method, right?" Kenta questioned.

[Not quite, the current problem is unfortunately unprecedented. Gods and goddesses are all naturally born with a strong body and strong will, unlike humans who possesses weak body, they don't have to worry about these things. Master, while you have the powers of a god your body is human, so your situation is completely different from them.] Agni explained.

"I see... this isn't good." The frown on Kenta's face deepens as he thought of possible solutions.

.... Sigh!

Kenta fell back onto his bed and sighed heavily as he wracked his brain.

[.... Perhaps the 'Demon strengthening physique' Could help you.] Agni suddenly said.

"Eh? Demon strengthening physique? What's that?" Kenta inquired curiously.

[Thats the name of the physique the demigods used in the past.] Agni replied.

[It's a physique that strengthened the physical body, until the body is practically as strong as diamond, this type of physique is even capable of competing against gods who specializing in raw power, if one reaches a high enough level, it was even possible of destroying mountains with a single punch.] Agni continued.

"Oh!" Hearing this Kenta's eyes sparkled, at the mentioned of a solution. "Do you know where I can learn that?"

[The physique should be here in the lower worlds, while many of the humans in the current era seemed to have completely forgotten the gods, technique left behind by them should still exist to this day. All you need to do is find a teacher.] Agni said.

Since it wasn't possible to have a demigod teach him then the next option was to have a human who had mastered such a physique teach him instead. Kenta sighed as he thought about the difficulties of finding a teacher.

"Argh, forget it! No need to think about that now, I think I will leave this city in the morning no one should know where I'm currently stationed so it should be fine." Kenta muttered to himself as he closed his eyes.

However, observing him from the shadows were two pairs of emerald eyes, as a soft yet sharp voice sounded.

".... I found you."
