Is it not enough that we ran into Mercenaries who were willing to sell us off for as many gold coins as they could get, do we also have to deal with my council? I mean am I not even supposed to be a superior to them? Or is this because I'm yet to know my way around as a Queen? Well I only need time to adjust and get accustomed to ruling.
After a long day of staying hostage at the Mercenaries, we got back at dusk to meet the angry faces of the royal council waiting up for me.
"Walking around unprotected, traveling across villages? A queen?" Justicar Greghi's angry voice thundered.
"Unprotected? I was with my maid and two other nights." I said.
"Just two knights? Really?"
"It was a quiet travel and just two knights were enough." Advisor Atorno said.
"Enough. What if something had happened? Would they have been able to protect the Queen?"
