Chapter 73 - Chapter Seventy

I don't know if truly I was as gullible as my mother was that led to her death seventeen years ago but right now, I feel like I've been deceived. I trusted Prince Rand, the son of a sly king and made an actual deal with him when it was a deal that his father deceived my mother with and got her kill right before the entire golden empire like nothing. Prince Rand may have acted dumb so many times but lately, he's proven otherwise. How on earth did I even get to trusting him to keep his end of the deal like I did. What if he just deceived me and is draining my powers with that ring instead of his father's. I scampered to find my feet as I found myself passing out and without any help, I collapsed, but before I did I was able to make out a man's silhouette. He looked familiar but I couldn't wait for his image to come into full view before I collapsed into the ground but I felt his arms around me. Turned out he didn't let me fall to the ground. He immediately caught me just in time.
