"If you really want to be on my side... Be my bait." I said to Rand.
Prince Rand looked at me unknowingly but soon his face lit up in understanding and realization.
"I'll be your bait Naya, but we have to make it worth it." Prince Rand said to me.
"What?" I said, honestly confused.
Prince Rand smiled slyly and stepped close to me and touched the ring hanging on my neck.
"Your opinion of me might be dumb but I'm not." He said then drew the ring forcefully out of my neck.
Back in the palace, Hazel was back inside the castle after they had supplied weapons to the fighting soldiers to defend the castle and she noticed I was gone.
"Where's Karen?" She asked Rose in a hurry. Rose who was busy on realized I was gone when Hazel asked her of me. Rose looked around quickly, searching for me but didn't find me.
"But, but she was.. she was here." Rose said confused.
"Where is Karen?" She went onto Mimie and asked her.
