The next morning we woke up and ate some rabbit for breakfast. "That was good Carson" I said as I washed our dishes. He nodded in agreement and hugged me from behind. "It sure was Angel. I haven't had that kind of meat in a while." He smiled and kissed my neck soon heading over to put out the fire. "When is the dance at?" He finished putting out the fire and responded. "It's about when the sun starts to go down. When it becomes night it's really pretty because all of the stars come out and the moon lights up the sky." I tried imagining how it would look when we got to the dance. Me in Carson's arms, all of the stars twinkling in the sky, and the moon to help guide our way. That honestly sounded really beautiful. "Carson do you think that now would be a good time to teach me how to dance?" He looked over at me and smiled as he put down a bowl of water. "It's the perfect time." He said as he set my hands on his shoulders and put his hands around my waist. I tensed up as he put his hands around me since I've never danced with someone and no one has ever done that to me. "Just move like this." He said as he lead my body in a slow movement which made my feet touch. I looked up at him but quickly looked down as he was already looking at me. "To scared to look at me while we're this close Angel?" He said slowly as he lifted my chin up just enough to where our eyes were meeting. I felt my cheeks get hot as we stared at each other longer. "Am I doing this right?" I asked just to break the connection between us for a second. My body was moving back and forth with his while the heels of my feet would separate and then touch. He nodded as he tightened his grip around my waist. "Your doing it perfectly Angel." I smiled and kept dancing as I tried my best to control the heat rising in my cheeks. We kept dancing until it was about an hour from the dance. "Time to get ready Carson." I said tossing his outfit towards him. He caught it and left to go get dressed. I slipped on my dress and brushed through my hair using my fingers. Carson came out of the room he was dressing in and hugged me. "How do I look?" He asked while I studied him. "Amazing. What about me?" I asked as I struck a pose and we laughed together. "Perfect as always." He said as he went and gave me a kiss. We headed over to where the dance was being held and waited for a little while for more people to gather. The building only had a roof and then pillar's to hold it up. There wasn't any walls and on the pillar's were jars filled with what looked like fireflies. As people gathered Carson talked to some people and introduced me to them. Music started and the sky went dark which made the stars and moon come out. Carson wrapped his hands around my waist while I put my hands around his neck. "You ready?" He asked while looking into my eyes. I nodded and we began dancing just like we had practiced. Soon to what feeler to be close to the middle of the dance I started leaning into him. He leaned down and kissed me while we listened to the music. My cheeks warmed up and I was pretty sure I looked like a tomato. I leaned my head up against his chest and moved my body to copy him. We kept like that until the end of the dance. I got a couple weird looks but it didn't really matter, what did matter was that I was with Carson right now and that I got to experience that dance with him. We went home and cuddled up into a blanket and sat by the fire after we started it. We soon fell asleep together while in each others arms.
