Chapter 8 - Full Moon 3

Inside the room…

Walden's eyes became red as he remained bent with both hands and feet on the floor. His hands straightened and his fangs came out. When his lips parted, his sharp canines could be seen.

His skin became even paler than before and he let out another roar.

Outside the penthouse, the full moon appeared, with a darkest red color.

During the full moon, both vampires and other unearthly beings attained full power and become unstoppable. They become highly aroused and sensitive.

The candles that Ali lit at the rooftop of the penthouse swayed and threatened to quench. The cries of unearthly beings could be heard from all parts of the city.

Walden stood up in his full glory as the alpha of the last race of the vampire clan. His gaze became sharper than usual as he walked towards the door.

Outside, Boaz and Lucia were trying to create a pyramid that would stop Walden from escaping. It was difficult to control him because he had become about 10 times more powerful than normal due to the effect of the full red moon.

''Boaz, I can't hold him anymore. He is too powerful for me.'' Lucia said to Boaz.

''I have an idea. Let's contain him in the pyramid and send him to the sea. There, I can control him with ease.''

''Alright, but how are we going to take him there? He is very powerful right now. I am afraid he might come out any moment…''

Lucia's words barely came out when the door was kicked down and Walden flew out of the room. He was so fast that they didn't have enough time to handle him.

''Did you see his eyes? He is fully aroused!'' Lucia shouted when the energy surrounding Walden forced them apart.

''We have to stop him, let's go!'' Boaz said and held Lucia's hand and they both vanished from the hall.

….

Alonso finished cleaning the room and even set up a place for himself in the hall. He hanged a curtain at the window side and made a bed there for himself. When he was done, Alonso went and opened the fridge and looked at it.

''Lady Alison has almost everything. I should prepare food for her so that she will eat when she wakes up.''

With that mind, Alonso picked a few ingredients and placed them on the table. He closed the fridge and suddenly felt a chilling aura in the room.

''What is that?'' Alonso picked a sharp when he heard a bang sound at the roof of the apartment. He had an ominous feeling and muttered, ''it's the scent of the alpha!''

Alonso turned and looked at Alison who was still fast asleep. He drew the curtain back, separating the bed from the hall before he went to stand at the door.

''It's the full moon. He came because of her scent'' Alonso muttered. He saw the curtains by the window side where he made his bed lifting up and he asked, ''did I not close that window?''

Alonso went and closed the window tightly before he turned. When he did, he saw the shadow of someone standing in front of Alison through the curtain.

''Who… who is that? Let me tell you, she is the bride of the alp…'' Alonso's words disappeared as his body got thrown back and he hit his back against the couch and screamed.

''Ah!''

The curtain blew and the face of the man came to view. Alonso saw him clearly. He wasn't Lord Walden. He was a different person whom he knew well to.

''Lord… Lord Liam?'' Alonso muttered.

Liam Dante, a disgraced wannabe alpha of the vampire clan who challenges Walden at any given time.

Liam pointed at Alison and asked Alonso, ''is she the one? The woman with the soul of the ghost descendant?''

''Lord Liam…'' Alonso coughed out blood.

''If you don't say it clearly, I will kill you.'' Liam said. He was a rough man who had no principles and did whatever made him happy.

''Ye… yes, she is.''

''She is my bride, then. She is beautiful.'' Liam chuckled and turned back to Alison.

''As least, that old woman found a woman with good looks to put her soul in.'' Liam sat on the bed and touched Alison's face.

Alonso watched helplessly. He wasn't strong enough to go against Liam. Liam was a powerful vampire who was unscrupulous and wicked.

''I smelt you a mile away. I thought I was mistaken but you are indeed here, my beautiful bride.'' Liam said and revealed a rare smile.

He lifted Alison's hand up and sniffed her up, getting aroused by her scent. His eyes turned red and he let out a soft groan.

Liam was distracted when he heard noise coming from the hall. He frowned and muttered, ''annoying brat. I can't do anything without getting distracted.''

Liam stood up and walked out. He gave Walden a cocky smirk and asked while taking a seat on the couch. ''You are here?''

Walden was standing next to Alonso.

''Walden…'' the door opened and both Boaz and Lucia entered.

''Oops, looks like everyone important is here… well, including my beautiful bride over there.'' Liam turned towards the bed and looked at Alison.

''Your bride?'' Lucia asked.

''I thought you all knew? She is my bride, she carries the soul of the woman I love.'' Liam stood up and looked at Walden with a smug gaze. As if purposely trying to trigger him.

'That woman was my wife and she is mine!'' Walden said sternly.

''We will see about that. Walden, I hate to fight with you, but you just always want the women in my life. I met Kaadie first but you stole her from me and your useless mother who also happens to be my stepmother made her die unjustly. Now that her soul got reincarnated into this woman, you want to fight with me over her?'' Liam chuckled.

''You are still delusional even after living for more than 500 years? At this point, there is no hope for you Liam.'' Walden said confidently. For him, Liam was never a competition. After all, fighting with someone you are stronger than wasn't worthy of his time.

''Want to take Alison out, then get through us, first.'' Boaz said as he stretched his hands apart, creating a water medium in the room.

Seeing this, Liam cussed, ''ssh, I really hate water! Hey, I know we are all high tonight but do you really want her to wake up to this? She will be greatly surprised when she wakes up and sees strangers in her apartment.''

''I hate to admit it, but he is right. Alison will be shocked to see this amount of people in her apartment. It will frighten her.'' Lucia said and turned to look at Walden.
