"How does your foot feel now my Queen?" asked Nora after up to thirty minutes after Wura had drank all the tea.
"Oh it feels much better now Nora, a lot better" said Wura as she smiled, she had just finished eating her breakfast and she felt full right now.
"I am relieved my Queen" said Nora with a smile as she carried away the empty dishes from Wura's bed.
"So am I Nora, that pain was unbearable" said Wura as she shook her head.
"I can imagine" said Nora as she placed the empty dishes on the metal tray.
"Nora how long do you think the herbs will last for?" asked Wura as she ran her fingers through her curly hair.
"Oh that is something that I forgot to ask the physician" said Nora a she frowned.
"I have no idea how long the herbs will last" said Nora.
"Well then we should not take any chances, please make me another cup of tea at noon" said Wura as she was prepared not to feel any more unbearable pain again.
"Alright my Queen" said Nora as she nodded.
"Please excuse me my Queen, let me take this dishes away" said Nora as Wura nodded and she left the room as Wura sighed and looked around in boredom, wondering what to do with herself.
She knew that Mero was a very dedicated person, so it would be rare that he would need her input or help with something, which officially left her with nothing to do.
Wura was just busy in her own thoughts when Nora came back into her room.
"My Queen, are there any crumbs in your bed, so I can dust them off?" asked Nora as she snapped Wura out of her thoughts.
"Ahh no, I made sure to be extra careful while I was eating, I do not want to give you unnecessary work" said Wura.
"That is very considerate of you my Queen, but I do not mind at all, my duty is to serve you, and I love to take care of you" said Nora as she smiled and her words made Wura smile.
"Even though taking care of you on mandatory bedrest is a bit of a stretch of my patience" said Nora as Wura laughed.
"I know Nora, even my own patience is being stretched, if I had known that this would happen I would have avoided the training grounds last night, or maybe even not have gone out at all" said Wura as she sighed.
"That may be true by Queen, but there is no point lingering aimlessly on what could have been done, you just need to focus on what you should to to recover well, and that would be to rest" said Nora.
"That I know Nora, that I know" replied Wura as Nora smiled.
"Nora, you seem to be in a much better mood now, let me guess, you spoke to Mero?" asked Wura in a teasing tone as Nora shook her head and laughed.
"My Queen, you should be resting" she replied.
"Oh no, no, only my right ankle is hurting and not my mouth" said Wura.
"I can see that you feel something for Mero" said Wura.
"I do not feel anything for him that I do not need to feel" replied Nora.
"Liar, you lie Nora, why else would you look as if you were betrayed when you found out that he did not call you last night when I hurt my ankle?" asked Wura.
"That was just me being childish my Queen, nothing more, I was upset, I do admit that, but I transferred my aggression on him" said Nora.
"Mhmm, right Nora, right, but you and him did spent quite a lot of time together yesterday" said Wura.
"I do not know what you are aiming at my Queen" replied Nora as she laughed and shook her head.
"I am sure you are bored my Queen, what do you intend to do today?" asked Nora as she was prepared to make Wura feel as comfortable as possible while she was on bedrest.
"Oh I do not even know Nora, I am not in a mood to read anything right now, and I am so very bored" said Wura as she groaned.
"Think well my Queen, there has to be something that you want to do, maybe something you never had time to do in the past" said Nora as as soon as she was talking Wura suddenly had an idea.
"Oh Nora you are right! I know exactly what I am going to do" said Wura with a bright smile on her face as Nora smiled.
"I am going to paint, before I said that I could not because I was so busy, but now I have more time than I know what to do with, so what better to do than paint?" asked Wura happily as Nora smiled.
"I am happy that you are happy to start painting again" said Nora as she smiled.
"So am I, Nora do you happen to know where my paints are?" asked Wura.
"I cannot remember where I left them the last time I used them" said Wura.
"Not to worry my Queen, I know exactly where I might find them" said Nora.
"I recall keeping them somewhere in your room, I mean in your old room" said Nora.
"Oh thank you Nora, can you please get them for me?" asked Wura as she smiled.
"Of course my Queen, I will be right back" said Nora as she smiled and she left the room, meanwhile Wura could not wait to start painting again.
...
"Here my Queen, I found some of your paints and blank canvases for you to paint on" said Nora as she smiled and handed Wura her paints as Wura scattered them all over the bed.
"Thank you Nora" said Wura as she smiled.
"You are welcome my Queen, now do you know what you are going to paint?" asked Nora as Wura looked at her and frowned.
"Well not really, it has been a long while since I painted anything, my skills might be a bit... off, I want to start with something very simple first" said Wura as she picked up a paintbrush and an small blank canvas in her other hand.
"Hmm well how about this teacup?" asked Nora as she picked up the green teacup from off the table as she showed it to Wura.
"I guess that would do" said Wura as she smiled and Nora smiled as she placed the teacup back on the table and she set it in a way she believed Wura would be best able to see the details.
"Does this position look fine my Queen?" asked Nora.
"It is perfect Nora" said Wura as she smiled.
"My Queen, should I leave to give you some time alone to paint?" asked Nora.
"No, you can stay if you want to, except you have somewhere else to be" said Wura.
"No my Queen, I would love to stay here and watch while I tidy up" said Nora as she smiled.
"And I would love to have you here so we can talk while I paint, it can get very lonely being alone" said Wura as she smiled and Nora smiled before she started to tidy up the room while Wura started to paint.
"My paints look like they are about to run out" said Wura as she looked at her paints.
"Then maybe we can get more my Queen" said Nora as she turned to look at Wura.
"That is the thing Nora, I do not know where to get paints" said Wura.
"My father always bought them for me as a gift, and well these paints I have it was... it was Liam that got them for me when he was trying to appease me" said Wura as talking about Liam brought a loving smile to her lips.
"Ahh I do remember that, and I also remember how surprised I was that he knew you wanted paints, I believed that maybe he overheard us talking or one of the guards told him" said Nora as she laughed and Wura laughed.
"I thought so too, but in the moment I was too elated to question his source of information thoroughly" said Wura as she laughed.
"My Liam is always so sweet, he has always been like that, the only times he is not is either when he is angry, or he is trying to be stubborn like me" said Wura as she laughed and Nora laughed.
"He can have such a bad temper sometimes" said Wura.
"And only you are freely allowed to say that about his Majesty, my Queen" said Nora as she laughed.
"That I am" said Wura as she sighed in happiness.
"I just miss him so much... so very much" said Wura as she began to paint.
"I know you do my Queen" said Nora as Wura smiled sadly at her.
