The next day.
"Good Morrow my Queen, how are you?" asked Nora with a smile as she walked into Liam's room and Wura was already wide awake as she was looking out the window.
"What are you doing here Nora?" asked Wura in a scolding tone as she turned to look at Nora who was startled by her tone.
"Here to serve you my Queen…" replied Nora in a soft voice.
"No, no, no" said Wura.
"No?" asked Nora in confusion.
"No Nora, did I not tell you last night that today is your day off?" asked Wura as sure there was a war going on, but not everyone should be depressed about it, she still wanted Nora to be happy, and the same went for Mero as well.
"My Queen, I thought that you were just joking last night" said Nora in confusion.
"No I was not joking Nora, I am dead serious, you have a day off today" said Wura seriously as she walked to Nora.
"But why my Queen? Did I do something wrong; did I offend you?" asked Nora.
"No you never did anything wrong" said Wura.
"Then why are you chasing me away my Queen?" asked Nora.
"I am not chasing you away Nora, or does it seem like I am?" asked Wura as Nora nodded.
"Well no Nora, I am not chasing you away" said Wura.
"But you are a person like everyone else Nora, you deserve a break" said Wura.
"But I never complain my Queen, I am just fine" said Nora as Wura smiled at her.
"I know you are Nora, but you are still on a day off today" said Wura as Nora sighed.
"But my Queen if I leave who will take care of you, or wait on you like I do?" asked Nora.
"Oh Nora, there are many other maids here, I am sure that I will not die if you leave for a day" said Wura as Nora sighed.
"But my Queen, there is nothing else for me to do if I do not take care of you" said Nora.
"I do not want to go anywhere, I do not even know where to go to my Queen, please just allow me stay here" said Nora as she pleaded with Wura.
"Oh Nora, not a chance, you are going out today, in fact, I need you to go to the market for me, that is your task for today, go to the stables where someone will be waiting for you" said Wura as Nora smiled in relief.
"Thank you my Queen, I will go right now" said Nora as she wanted to get this over with and return back to the Castle.
"Not so fast Nora, you cannot go to the market looking like that" said Wura as Nora looked at herself.
"is there something wrong with what I am wearing my Queen?" asked Nora.
"Yes, there is Nora, it is too plain" said Wura.
"But my Queen, I am only going to the market quickly, everything will go on quickly and I will return before you know it" said Nora with a smile as that was the problem she did not want Nora returning too quickly.
"No Nora, you cannot go out looking like that, as the persona maid of the Queen, you need to dress well" said Wura as she walked to the closet and she brought out a dress.
"You need to wear something like this" said Wura as she smiled.
"My Queen, that is one of your new dresses, I cannot wear that, and also my Queen, do you not think that it is a bit too much?" asked Nora.
"Oh hush Nora, it is perfect, and also I had it made for you" said Wura with a smile.
"You did?" asked Nora as she smiled and Wura nodded.
"So please my dear Nora, wear it, I want to see how it looks on you" said Wura with a smile.
"Please Nora, put it on" said Wura with a smile as Nora sighed and she nodded.
"Alright my Queen" said Nora as she knew that if she refused Wura would keep on insisting.
"Thank you Nora, now hurry up and put it on" said Wura with a smile as she handed the dress to Nora and Nora sighed as she took the dress to go and put it on.
…
"Oh Nora, you look wonderful much better" said Wura as she smiled in the delight on seeing Nora in a long sleeved plain brown dress that made her look even more beautiful than she already was.
"Thank you my Queen, but I feel like this is a bit too much" said Nora as she felt like she was going to some sort of celebration rather than the market.
"Nothing is ever too much for you Nora, now come, let me do your hair" said Wura as she made Nora sit down in front of the dressing table as she started to brush Nora's hair.
"My Queen, do you not think that you are doing a bit much for going to the market?" asked Nora.
"Nora you think too much, it is your day off, you need to enjoy" said Wura as she decided to leave Nora's hair down today, she always had it up in a bun or something, she liked Nora's hair down like this.
"There you look wonderful, now I only need you to buy a few things from the market for me, and then you can come back here, but do not return until you get me those things" said Wura.
"Alright my Queen, what do you need me to get for you?" asked Nora as Wura smiled, she was sure that everything would go on smoothly.
…
Nora sighed as she walked into the stables as she was waiting for who Wura told her to meet as she looked around and she saw Mero as she turned around, she did not want to meet Mero right now.
"Wait Nora, why are you running away? He did nothing wrong, and I did nothing wrong as well" said Nora to herself as she took a deep breath and she turned around as Mero just happened to turn around in the same moment.
"Good Morrow Nora" said Mero as he greeted Nora.
"Good Morrow Sir Mero" said Nora as Mero frowned.
"Oops, I mean Mero" said Nora.
"How are you?" asked Mero.
"I… I am doing well, thank you for asking, and, how are you?" asked Nora.
"I am well" said Mero.
"Oh well that is great, I have to be going now" said Nora.
"Where are you going?" asked Mero.
"Oh just to the market, her Majesty asked me to get some things for her" said Nora as Mero just looked at her.
"Alright, I can take you there if you want" said Mero.
"Ahhh, no, no, I will just wait for the carriage" said Nora as she looked around.
"There is no one here except us Nora, the horses have been taken for a stroll, I can take you if you wish" said Mero.
"No, I do not want to impose Mero, I know that you are a very busy man" said Nora as she did not want this at all, something told her that all this was no coincidence at all.
"it will not be imposing, I am on my day off today" said Mero.
"Oh how great, let me guess her Majesty was the one who gave you your day off?" asked Nora as Mero nodded and she sighed.
"Nora, if I make you feel uncomfortable then I can just ask someone else to take you to the market" said Mero.
"No I do not want to bother anyone else" said Nora.
"It is fine, you can take me there" said Nora.
"Alright" said Mero as he helped Nora onto his horse as she felt her eyes spinning and she closed her eyes.
"What is wrong?" asked Mero as he noticed her discomfort.
"I am afraid of heights, that is why horses scare me" replied Nora.
"Is that so??" asked Mero in an annoyed tone as Nora nodded.
"Bu during our time in the Yonder Realm you rode on Zuph's horse with no problem at all" said Mero with a hint of annoyance in his tone.
"I will still scared back then, but Zuph assured me not to, he made me feel comfortable" said Nora as Mero frowned.
"And how did he do that?" asked Mero.
"Well he used to tell me funny stories, or sing me songs, that took my mind off the height" said Nora.
"Of course he did" said Mero in annoyance.
"Do you want me to tell you a funny story?" asked Mero.
"Because I surely cannot sing at all" said Mero as Nora nodded and he sighed.
Here went nothing, but his pride.
Mero did not even know what kind of story to tell her, he had no idea at all
