"My Queen, you called for me?" asked Elder Foden with a smile as he stepped into Liam's office where Wura and Mero were waiting for him.
"Yes I did Elder Foden, please have a seat" said Wura with a smile as she gestured that Elder Foden sit across her as he did so.
"What did you call me for my Queen? You do know that I am very busy with everything going on" said Elder Foden as he wondered why Wura was smiling, just yesterday it was very clear that she was suffering from the imprisonment of her uncle, and now she had called him to her office and was acting as if today was a happy day, he was suspicious to say the least.
"Oh yes Elder Foden, I know that you are working very hard to let justice prevail and I really commend you for that" said Wura with a smile as Elder Foden narrowed his eyes at her, he wondered what exactly she was playing with now.
"I appreciate your commendation my Queen, but that still does not shed light on why you called me here" said Elder Foden as he did not feel comfortable here.
"Well I can see that you are in a rush, so let me not delay you any longer" said Wura with a smile.
"Elder Foden, I ask you, where exactly did you find that letter that you showed me as evidence?" asked Wura.
"That is a part of private matters my Queen, I cannot tell you where I found the letter" replied Elder Foden, now he was sure that there was something really going on here.
"Surely you could shed some light on where you got that letter from" said Wura.
"After all I need to know, I do not doubt the truth of the letter, I just want to know where exactly you got the letter from, because I highly doubt that the rebels would be so careless as to let a letter of that manner that could certainly implicate them get lost or enter into the wrong hands, or the right hands, just like yourself" said Wura with a smile.
"Well I have my ways my Queen" said Elder Foden as he said nothing more and nothing less.
"Well your ways are really special then, how are your ways?" asked Wura as Elder Foden did not like all these questions that she was asking him all of a sudden.
"My ways are my ways, I have a former rebel who for a hefty sum gave me this letter" said Elder Foden.
"Oh so that is how it is?" asked Wura.
"Yes my Queen" replied Elder Foden.
"Would the former rebel be willing enough to come and meet me here?" asked Wura.
"Certainly not my Queen, I promised him secrecy, I am afraid that I cannot ask him to come and meet you" said Elder Foden.
"I see" said Wura.
"So you got the letter from a former rebel, who you paid in order to get the letter" said Wura as she seemed to be thinking to herself.
"Yes my Queen" replied Elder Foden.
"So that is how it is?" asked Wura.
"Yes my Queen" replied Elder Foden.
"I am asking you once more Elder Foden, is that how you came about the letter or was it through some other means?" asked Wura as she was giving Elder Foden one last chance to end all of this and just tell her nothing but the truth.
"Yes my Queen, it is" replied Elder Foden seriously, as if he was telling the absolute truth.
"Alright then" said Wura with a smile.
"Mero, if you please" said Wura as she turned to look at Mero and she smiled as Mero nodded and he walked to the end of the office as he carried something and Elder Foden just wondered what on earth was going on here.
"Elder Foden, I am sure that this should look familiar to you" said Wura as she watched the reaction on Elder Foden's face closely as it changed to a look of disbelief and fear as he watched as Mero carried a little heavy looking stone object with a wooden handle on its side as he placed it down on the ground.
"Where did you get that from?" asked Elder Foden as he looked at Wura and she raised an eyebrow at him as she smiled.
"You tell me Elder, does it look familiar or what?" asked Wura with a smile.
"No I cannot be, this is supposed to be in my house, and not here" said Elder Foden to himself, he could not even begin to imagine where Wura got this from, or where she found such an object, as far as she knew this object was very special, not to be found just anywhere.
"You have been following me" said Elder Foden.
"I am the Queen, I can do whatever I want, you are my loyal subject now are you not?" asked Wura in a cold tone as she maintained her smile.
"You broke into my home to carry that object!" said Elder Foden.
"And you forged a letter and arrested my uncle just to spite me and harm my family!" said Wura as she hit her fist on the desk and she stood up.
"I… I…" said Elder Foden as he did not know what to say to defend himself.
"I can take your insults, I can take your wickedness, but where I draw the line is with my family, if you harm my family, I will harm you" said Wura in anger as Elder Foden was out of words he did not know what to say, he never knew that Wura was so dangerous.
"Now listen up and listen well, because this is what is going to happen" said Wura In all seriousness.
"You are going to drop all the allegations against my uncle, you will close this rubbish case, and you will also offer an apology to my uncle and my family" said Wura.
"I am not going to do that!" said Elder Foden as Mero was about to put him in place when Wura raised a hand to stop him.
"It is fine if you do not want to do that, I will just let everyone know what you did, and your title as Elder will be revoked" said Wura.
"Elders are supposed to be respectable people, experienced old men, but you, oh you are just dubious, selfish, and a shame to the house of elders" said Wura.
"I know the rules, and you do to, forgery is a accusation that would either get you three summers in the dungeon or the killing of your household, you choose which you would want to decide on, I just feel bad for your poor family who were not aware of what you were doing" said Wura.
"I… I will apologize" said Elder Foden because either way, he would not be able to take the shame.
"Good, we have reached an understanding, now get out of my office" said Wura as Elder Foden stood up and left as Lown gasped and turned back into his true form as Wura rushed to him.
"Lown, are you alright?" asked Wura as Lown was breathing quickly.
"I am alright my Queen, I just need to catch my breath" said Lown as he sighed.
"Oh I am so sorry Lown" said Wura as she sighed.
"Do no be my Queen, you ended just in time" said Lown with a smile.
"Oh thank you Lown, thank you for everything, I do not know what I would have done if you had not rendered your help to me" said Wura as she hugged Lown and she smiled, none of them would have been able to prove that Elder Foden forged the letter.
"You do not need to thank me my Queen, this is the least I can do to repay you for your great kindness towards me, you gave me somewhere to stay, and you forgave me for pretending to be your husband, I would do anything to repay your kindness" said Lown as he smiled and Wura smiled at him.
"Mero could you please go and make sure that man does as he agreed, I do not trust him" said Wura as she looked at Mero.
"Yes my Queen" said Mero as he nodded.
"Thank you Mero" said Wura with a smile as Mero proceeded to leave the room but before he did he turned to look at Lown.
"Thank you for your assistance to the Queen" said Mero as Lown nodded and he walked out of the room.
"Lown should I get Nora to bring you some tea so you can relax more?" asked Wura with a smile.
"No need my Queen, I just need some fresh air, I will see you later" said Lown with a smile as he turned back into a sparrow as he flew out the window and Wura smiled.
